For a smaller park it is beautiful. I love the stone pavilions and the pathways through the forest provide some great scenery. It's beautiful in all seasons but is a must see in the fall and winter. If you love the outdoors as I do it is adjacent to several other state parks as well so plan a day around it and see what the whole area has to show you.

Beautiful park! But it's very small compared to Laurel Hill State Park. But Laurel Hill closes in October and Kooser is open til December!

My wife and I spent a few days in Cabin #25 for our 1 year anniversary. (10-8-17)
The scenery was awesome and the local foliage was breathtaking! We had the best time possible! The cabin cost us only $35/ night, which is awesome for experiencing a rustic cabin on a budget! We will definitely be back. The fishing was great. It rained most of the time, but we were prepared. Highly satisfied with our experience. 5 stars!

This place is ok to fish. Kinda shallow in places. There is some monster trout. They're smart tho.

First time here with a group of friends. Beautiful area. You are in the woods but still close enough to civilization in case you need it. Will be going back.

I went on 2 hikes with my kids, ages 1, 3, 5, 6. The Army Tree Trail was easy, all my kids could do it but the other trail was hard and I had to carry my kids up and down. My mids loved the Park

Stayed in April '16, in rustic cabin 22. Very nice cabin, good location on creek. You must bring your own linen and no bathroom but has hot running water. Very nice furnishings in cabin. Shower building very clean. Small park, but many other nearby sights to see (Fallingwaters House). Would return. (See Photos)
