The jewlery lady threw the purses on the counter and said "there" to my grandma so we just looked at the purses by ourselves instead of having her help
Great place to shop, friendly people and always eager to help you. Prices are good and also the Kohl's cash you get with your purchases comes in handy.
Horrible experience. I came in to shop on 9.17.2017 at about 4PM for a few specific clothing items, including bras. I spent about 20 minutes scouting the whole bra section to get a few to try on, with my boyfriend following me around, killing time on his phone. Absolutely no one else was looking at bras at this time, we were the only people in the section. At one point I was crouched down to look at a bottom shelf so it must have appeared that my boyfriend was alone. An employee walked over and just said "hi" to my boyfriend, and walked away, with no offer to help. We guessed that she wanted to make sure he wasn't alone in the bra section.
Finally, I picked out about 8 bras to try on, and probably would have bought about 4 ($100 worth). I found a fitting room and went to try them on, with my boyfriend in tow. Here, it's worth mentioning, my boyfriend and I are in our late twenties, and have no intentions of ever making trouble in a store. I am just used to the fitting rooms at target where we frequently try clothes on together, so I wasn't thinking that we would have any problems. So we start to walk into the fitting room and boom, one foot through the entrance and she is back again. "You can't go in there! We don't have coed dressing rooms here at Kohls" At this point I haven't even noticed whether there is a sign saying this. Then she says, "he can wait outside and you can come show him" my boyfriend wisely states "they're bras" and she responds by CORRECTING HIM, saying they're intimates. She then tries to send me to a different fitting room completely. I decided to just walk out and not purchase anything. It's not that I'm upset he couldn't accompany into the fitting room, it's that I felt profiled for being a young person, and that the employee was so rude.
tl;dr: Employee in "intimates" section profiles younger shoppers and is extremely rude.
So much cleaner and more organized than Ahwatukee Kohls
Went to Kohl's for back to school shopping. There was an item listed for a sale price but when it rang up it was $20 more.i asked about this and was told I would have to wait for a manager. When the manager, Paula, finally showed up she was obviously irritated with my concerns and very rude . She walked off with out stating a resolution then showed back up and was rude yo Lynda, the cashier who was ordered to re-ring the transaction. Lynda the cashier couldn't have been anymore polite. She was friendly and very thorough with the transaction. Paula, on the other hand, should take some social lessons from her employees. Very disappointing!!
Good selection of item I was looking for. They called up xtra cashiers when a line formed.
The only negative with this Kohls is that they never have enough shopping carts, whether it's on a weekday with a small crowd, and particularly on a crowded day like today. Most Kohl stores I've been in have an abundance of carts.
I wanted to buy a ring to celebrate graduating college. The lady was really rude to me, and I swear was discriminating against me because I am just a college student and not an older person. I am sorry, I do have money, don't assume I don't because I am young. She did not want to talk to me, she tried her hardest for me not to buy the ring, and was condescending. When I was checking out, she persisted to be rude. My friend even told me afterwards that I was being nice to her, and she was treating me with disrespect. Seriously, I just gave you a sale.
Wow a great place. People are caring and very friendly.
Came in late in the day lady who helped me look for pants was helpful but not friendly clean and laid out ok like any other Kohls
I had to beg to be waited on at the jewelry counter. No selection of real jewelry. Just costume stuff that I dont wear. Semi precious stones like Topaz are practically non existent.
Normally very clean and organized. Staff is friendly. Great returns experience.
You want some cheap clothes? Guess what, this is the place. Don't you dare forget to try them on, though. I'm not huge on clothes shopping, but it's 100% true that sizes are not standard. XXL for one brand is tight, and XL for another is loose. WTF, right? Had to make some returns because I forgot to try them on first, and they didn't ask any questions. Pretty good service.
Extra good place if you like that hipster skateboarder look, like super hero shirts, or enjoy dumb phrases all over your clothes.
