"BAD" customer service (Beth)
Ordered online - received a damaged product. Took the product back to Lafayette store where i met Beth at the customer service desk. She told me that there is nothing that she can do about it other than taking the product back. Before agreeing to the return i asked her to make sure that the discount code used $10 off 50 (household) is not taken off .. but ok to take the 30% off coupon. Was told that 30% will be taken off but not the $10 she processed the return with returning only $11 and few cents back. I went back to the customer service desk to see that if i am only getting few dollars back when its not my fault (damaged product) i would keep the product if they have it in store. Beth tells me that I will have to go back to the dept to check it out if hey have it or not. . I requested Beth to check if they have the product in store by checking the SKU # .. was told that i will have to go back and check it out myself (UNTRUE)
I went back to the dept to check where the product was not there came back and i was told that i can now order the product again with 20% off which is there online (instead of 30% plus $10 off) and cannot help with anything else
Had to talk to Store manager Julie (who was very helpful) who checked online that they did not have the product and went back to check and helped out with adjusting the price .
I would say that Beth was NOT at all helpful Rather she was Rude and i do not believe that she would have behaved this way (lied to me) if i was a caucasian Did talk to Julie (who was very helpful) that Beth should have NOT lied to me about her not able to check if they have the product in store "Bad experiencehope no one has such experience with Bad customer service"response / report this review -

Clean store. The employees are not trained to provide a high quality customer service experience. It's like the management just want warm bodies to run the registers and stock the shelves. The variety of clothing sizes isn't as wide as I would like. Most deals don't really feel like deals at all and they regularly forget to remove theft devices from clothing. I've had this happen to me, and several others have said the same. I'll go here from time to time but I'm less than impressed.

Typical Kohl's, but this one seems to make an effort to keep their store clean. Staff isn't the friendliest when you do have questions, but not a bad shopping experience usually.

Good place for kids clothes. Great spot for coupons and a decent deal. Ok overall selection. Runner-up to Macy's.

Extremely unfamily orientated store, managers are very rude, store is always a mess, my roommate katie left this store due to not getting enough hours a manager named Christy told her the reason why is because she is to friendly toward customers, and she communicates with her coworkers making sure everything is being accomplished. She got in trouble for helping out with the register and providing great customer service to people when the line was to long. Christy's words to Katie where "You talk to much so I dont want to give you more hours I dont care about your money situation not my problem". very unprofessional, I will certainly NEVER shop here again I shall also recommend my friends and family in Lafayette to also never shop at this branch.
