I have been to this place on a few occasions. For the most part, the food is pretty good. I have only had their Jerk Chicken so far. There are some things that they can work on service wise but hey

Parking can be somewhat limited directly in front of the location. However, this place shares an additional lot with Sugarloaf Mills, so you can park and just walk across the street if there isn't any readily available.

This place is very small. I have dined in twice and picked up a to go order twice. Today, I went and ordered Jerk Chicken white meat with no rice just veggies. The chicken was flavorful. They give you the option of spicy or mild sauce for the chicken. My veggies were not steamed enough. They were still extremely crunchy. This has not been the case in the past. I called my order in because I was in a rush to get back to work. I asked how long was the wait. I was told 5-10 minutes. I arrived about 8 minutes later and still had to wait another 10 minutes for my food. This is an inconvenience. I do not mind waiting for good, fresh food but please give an accurate estimate on wait time.

In the past, when I dined in, my main complaint was that no one comes to pick the tab up from the table. You have to take it to the register to pay. That somewhat defeats the purpose of dining in but no big deal.

The staff is normally quiet but still friendly. I would definitely return. Next time, I may try the oxtails.

I just ordered a large jerk chicken dinner, and let me just say it was horrible I didn’t eat even half of it. The chicken looks old, rice and beans are horrible and jerk sauce is some kind of sauce that isn’t jerk sauce. Needless to say I’ll never be back and they couldn’t pay me to eat there again.. STAY AWAY. DO NOT GO THERE.

First time around it was great. Second time here, customer service wasn't well and very awkward vibe. The cashier woman kept staring at me as if I owed her something. Our server was friendly as always

So where do I begin. We stopped in for lunch today (Saturday) at 11:30..well surprise surprise the door says they open at 10a but they were closed. Since we had something else to do we left an returned just after noon an they were open. We walked in an ordered at the counter. We had to repeat our order 2x to the woman writing it, then another woman entered into their system an had to again ask what we wanted hmmm ok.. So we sat down after telling them we were dining in. When the food was brought out we ordered a curry chicken roti, jerk chicken app, and a coco bread.. Well the jerk chicken was cold as if cooked Fri an put into a heating pan Saturday. I took it to the counter an let them know. The young lady took my plate in the back an I heard the microwave being turned on, which was a surprise since the grill was FULL of chicken. While waiting the owner came to the table an she apologized an told us she was taking care of the chicken for us, which we later found out what she meant was she was microwaving it for us not taking it off the bill. The food was just ok. The curry had a pretty good flavor but definitely wasn't Trini style roti and the jerk chicken didnt have much of a jerk seasoning taste to it. I ate here once before when they first opened an never returned, today I remembered why.

The food was horrible the rice was horrible. I will never ever go again. This was the worse Jamaican food I ever tasted. I'm going to return the food and will not ask for my money back. They can keep it.
    The beef patties were good.

Stopped by Kingston 30 after work for the first time. The food was amazingly good. I myself am a Jamaican Chef and am very picky. This is now my go to Jamaican place. Met Chris the Chef and I have to hail him up. Also try their home-made ginger drink with pineapple juice, very authentic. I'll be back.

I go here all the time. And usually the food and service is good but this time was different. First and foremost, let me start off by saying that the owner is NOT very friendly The employees are more friendlier than her and theres something wrong with that.
Now the day I went in, the owner of the establishment could not get the cash register to work.. So I had to wait an extra 20 min for my food even though it was sitting right there in the bag. She was so occupied with getting the cash register to work, that she didn't attend to her customers who had already paid for their food and we're ready to go.Making your customers wait when they've already paid and their food is bagged and ready is poor customer service. Secondly, the curry tasted a little sour. Usually the food is good but on this particular day I felt that the taste was off. Not sure if I will be back for a while after this stunt.

Outstanding authentic food! Beef patties, steamed vegetables and rice and peas better than in Jamaica! Cozy atmosphere and friendly faces. A home cooked meal with good prices.
*Take your order to go, it's just TOO HOT in there! 90 degrees with NO air conditioning!*

Rice, plantain, and gravy were perfect. But my curry goat could have been better. Some pieces were chewy and you don't get a lot with the large so i pretty much ate a lot of rice and gravy. The rum cake was great.
