  If you are looking for a kind, inclusive and comfortable place to see a hair stylist/artist Kindred Hair Space is the place.
  Andrea was my stylist and is the owner and was fantastic. She listened took the time to teach and guide me with a major hair change. The space is completely comfortable and seriously non judgmental which is lovely. Definitely a hidden gem in Midtown and a must! Thank you!

  When I say Andrea gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had, I truly mean that. For the first time in 46 years someone took the time to understand my hair and cut it in a way that worked with it, not against it. Having the two hour first cut policy was worth every penny. I think Andrea analyzed every strand of hair, gave me techniques that subsequently resulted in me never having to pick up a hair dryer to style it again and honestly it’s been life changing. The cut, the space the everything about the place…. All amazing.

  I just had my first haircut with Andrea and it was a fabulous experience. Andrea is so knowledgeable on the science of hair and your specific hair qualities. She uses all natural products, and teaches you why they are beneficial to your hair. The salon itself is relaxing and soothing environment, I felt right at home the moment I walked in. Andrea took the time to teach me how to achieve the style I want with very little effort. I'm 56, and I've never had a salon experience so thorough. I left there with a renewed sense of confidence, and the best haircut I've ever had. Andrea is a master at her craft. I would also trust anyone in this salon based on Andrea's expertise, kind nature and genuine interest in the person sitting in her chair. Go now!!

  Elizabeth is literally the best hair stylist ever, she really listens to what you want and delivers everytime!! She is so talented and really takes her time with your hair. She is the only person I will ever trust with my hair again!!! She has completely transformed my hair! Go to her!!!! You will not regret it. Also kindred is such a amazing vibe, welcoming, and inclusive. Literally the best salon experience I’ve ever had hands down!

  The space is stylish, lots of natural light and the indoor plants really refresh the entire client experience.

  Jessica is a great fit for my hairstyling needs. She’s very open to experiments and understands what I need. She also suggests ideas which I really value in hairstylists. Highly recommend Jessica.
