The best place for pet supplies in the upper keys. Keys Kritters is a long time fixture in key largo and a well known supporter of the community. Whee e beer I have a question about a product for one of my dogs, they have the answer. Support local business!

You must pay cash for anything under $10 . But that hard to do. There over priced on every thing. They act like there doing you a service to wait on you. If your not spending big bucks they want cash There to cheep to pay the 55 cent processing fee. I have been here since 1999 and helping all animal protection people. They have never donated are nrver mentioned at meetings. But service is quick. Your the only person there. Makes you wonder how they get enough money to keep open all these years

This place has more stuff than I thought it would. I was very disappointed in the conditions and set up of the Tortoises/turtle. They crammed a Sulcata Tortoise, a Red Foot Tortoise and a Box Turtle into a tiny tank. These 3 species are from completely different regions of the world and have different habitat and dietary needs. The Sulcata had some bad pyramiding already for that small of a size. The Red Foot looked pitiful. 😞

The owner/manager seemed cheery and nice. I was on a time crunch and wasn't able to educate him a hit on proper housing of each of these animals.

I posted the photo of the depressing enclosure of the turtle/tortoises and luckily someone from Mississippi saw them and is buying them all. The owner is being nice and working out a deal to ship them to a wonderful home in the country. I hope he really listens to this lady and makes some changes in his enclosures and animal displays. His store isn't too big but that's not an excuse to cram a bunch of different species into a tiny tank.
