A must do for a visit to Key West! I'm very glad I took the time to visit the lighthouse for a breathtaking view over the key. Be very cautious on the spiral staircase though. There is no way to tell if people are already coming up or down the staircase and it's a bit nerve-racking if you meet them in the middle.

Loved it! You can see way out to the ocean, the breeze was awesome and made it a little more intense

Fun place to visit and learn about Key West history. From atop the lighthouse you get a great 360 view of the entire island.

Money goes to a good cause. Lighthouse view over the city and water is nice. Very tight inside. Can not pass people going up or down, so be careful. Museum is nice and has a lot of information on the lighthouse and light keepers thru the years. Glad we went.

Interesting place for a light house? I would do the lighthouse tour again. I was fascinated by all the history. It is a bit scary going up into the lighthouse and walking around up there when it's windy. There is a gift shop for buying various items.

Lovely little light house on beautiful grounds. Also has the keepers house as a museum. Good view of town, especially Hemingway's house.

This was a nice climb up to the top, interesting piece of Key West's history. You can even see Ernest Hemmingway's Pool from the top. The view was just beautiful 360 all around, there are even little blurbs telling what is what in the distance. It was very Informative & fun. Don't miss it on your next stop to key west.

A shorter lighthouse, but beautiful nonetheless - 88 steps. The fig tree outside was the greater attraction for me just from all it's root system and beautiful photo opportunity. Lighthouse keeper house on grounds and history was well done. Very nice gift shop.

BEWARE THE LIGHTHOUSE STAIRS HAVE ONE RAIL. I didn't make it to the top because of the one rail but I hear it is beautiful at the top. The keepers house is a peak back to the early days of the lighthouse and how Key West emerged as a piece of paradise.

I have a fascination with various lighthouses. I have visited several along both the coasts. This one is similar to the others in that apart from the main tower it has the keeper's house as well. The lighthouse is almost across the street from the Earnest Hemingway museum. Amazing views from the top of the lighthouse.

Really enjoyed this stop of our trip. You can see the entire key from up here, and also spot everywhere you've been and everywhere you will be throughout your day. Set aside an hour or so to look around if you enjoy that sort of thing.
