The festival itself is fantastic. There are always a great selection of crafts and food. However, we waited in line to park for an hour only to find that they were only using one entrance to park cars.

Very welcoming placewell set up and easy to navigate through the venue. All the vendors were friendly. Great music, all day long! We loved it and we will visit again! :-)
The traffic backup was about 40 minutes, but a wait like that means the festival is well loved. :-)

Small town feel this is a craft lovers friend. Numerous tents with craft vendors of just about anything you can think of. Biggest draw for me is the many choices of food that you can find. From BBQ to German food to Pizza and Corn Dogs there is quite a variety! Just be sure to bring a good amount of cash as none of the food vendors accept credit cards.

Great place to go. The best 🍯 and other goodies made right in front of you. Kids loved the animals and learning how things are made

it took an hour to go 2 miles down the road to get there. get there early. i dont really care much about arts / craftsso, i am not a good source. my 2 stars is purely based on the miserable last 2 miles of the trip to get there.

If you have never been, you owe it to yourself to visit at least once..
Take the 4x4 though. You will be parking in a corn field

My apologies for being a city-boy. But, if you're looking to me for adjectives describing Wool Fest, "classy, creative, and contemporary" will not be among them. I find Kentucky people to be generally charming and innocent. But they still seem to be living in the 19th Century. When describing Wool Fest, "dust, dated, and depressing" come to my mind. The highlight of the day was watching my daughter as the little piggy she was holding in the petting zoo tinkled down her shirt and pants. And as for the "main stage"? Let's just say that this "fest" is begging for a facelift and a corporate sponsor. Also, there are two narrow roads for entry points, plan on arriving early or waiting in line for the better part of an hour and getting a car wash when you get back to civilization.

So many working to keep parking a breeze! Lead us in and a different crew to help the exit process. What a great job!
