The exhibits and staff are wonderful. The people who work there are helpful and very friendly. A wonderful way to see our space program up close. Go on the bus tour. Do not go during peak times. The crowd jams everything up.
Great place, plan a WHOLE day. The bus tour can take 2-3 hours, I recommend you start there. It really is a comprehensive tour of the blast sites. You'll still have the main complex to tour after that.
I loved that almost everything was included in the admission price. Seeing first hand our nations entire space history in one place was AMAZING! The shows are very interesting and informative. The place is very kid friendly for all ages. If your kid is interested in this stuff they'll have a blast.
It is a very neat place to go to or even visit with a family. It is extremely cool when you get to watch the giant space ships launch, they shoot big flames with a trail of smoke. Sometimes it even remakes the ground and house which I thought was really entertaining. It lights up the whole sky at night sit a red orange bright light coming from behind the trees. It's a great place to bring your family and kids to visit.
For a geek and space travel historian, this is the place to go! Great exhibits, 2 excellent IMAX films, and a space shuttle launch simulator. Also several exhibits on the upcoming Mars mission. The Atlas rocket exhibit was fantastic. Also much less cost than the theme parks in the area. A great place to for young and old alike.
AMAZING The bus tour is a must do, the Saturn V rocket exhibit is awesome. The Heroes and Legends exhibit is new since I was here last, beautifully done. My absolute favorite is the Atlantis Exhibit. Start to finish it is all inspiring emotional and just plain incredible. You can't miss the Kennedy Space Center Visitor complex. If you come to Florida you do yourself a disservice if you don't come here. Holidays in Space is awesome as well.
Awesome place. Took my 6 and 10 year old boys and they loved it.so happy we went here instead of those other theme parks. Many of the exhibits are inside (with ac). The Atlantis exhibit was absolutely awesome.
The price to get in was close to $50 but I felt it was worth the money. The bus tour was great and the Apollo launch experience was fantastic. Download the KENNEDY SPACE CENTER App to get a schedule of future launchs. You can view launches from a viewing area a safe distance away from the launch. Experiencing a live launch would really add to your experience.
A tour de force of our past history. The new shuttle building is amazing, taking you on a tour of the development of the shuttle and immersing you in the experience. The reveal is nothing less than breathtaking. Introducing you to the greater principals of space flight, it it well worth a day of three, experiencing the past while glimpsing the future!
Went a couple of years ago. I got interested in space when the shuttles were in operation so to get up close and personal with one was amazing. Had lunch and a chat with an astronaut, and did the bus tour. Wife said it was better day out than some of the Disney parks and she isn't even a space fan (she was going to stay at the hotel that day) one of the best days of my life and could have easily gone back the next day. And I got to have a drink of tang.
If you haven't been here, I suggest going if you're ever in Florida. The redesign of the park and the added features here is wonderful. During the busiest time of the day, it still isn't that bad as far as lots of people. Take the bus tour, well worth it!
What an awesome experience. Meet an astronaut. Saw the shuttle. They have it laid out well. U can spend the whole day with no problem. Food is expensive be aware of this. But it was a great time. Will return down the road.
Awesome experience!!! I would give it six stars if I could. Something for everyone. Our groups age ranged from 10 to 70. Something for everyone. Atlantis Shuttle exhibit really cool, must see. Food at the Orbit cafe was good. Will definitely go back again if in the area. Worth every penny.
I hadn't been here in 40 years (I was 7). This place was fantastic. Take some time and try to see and do everything that they have to off. Make sure that you take the bus tour which is included with your general admission ticket. It was about an 45 minutes long and had so much information. The ride also takes you to the Apollo building which was really nice. Have fun and enjoy.
I love this place.
This is our second time to Florida and also our second time to visit Kennedy.
Educational, exciting and entertaining all in one.
One of my favourite excursions.
Unfortunately we missed the launch of the new rocket as the launch date was postponed.
I will just have to come back again.
5 stars.
Been here several times over the years & love it. The showing of the Atlantis makes you feel very proud. Interesting & informative displays. Do the bus tour it's amazing. There happened to be a launch when we were there, that was SO COOL!!!
