So thankful I went here, the spirit in this school encourages you to be your best self and rise to the top, I would not have the life I have had I not gone here.

Very judgmental school, if you don't fit their mold they encourage you to leave because they don't want to follow district standards and meet students where they are. They push out the strugglers so they can stay on top, padding their numbers to make them look like a number one school. Many teachers try to reach kids but are overwhelmed themselves by the sheer number of students, others just don't care. Of the 5 students I know quiet well that attended there only 1 was successful and even that came with judgement from administration and a constant battle to swim upstream. An alternative school in the area had over 60 students leave Kennedy in just one month, and that was the norm.

Fairly large high school with lots of good amenities, like the pool. Kinda difficult to find, though.

The teachers are nice, the students are friendly, and it's been voted as the #1 best high school in Iowa.
