The current warden, William Sperfslage, earned his job through years of being pushed around in lower positions in the Iowa Department of Corrections. He used to supervise the prison lockup. There inmates were mentally and physically abused by officer Vern Isaac, Roger Dunyan and others. Nothing was ever done about this cruel & unusual abuse under the watch of Bill. He is a lame piece of feces whose full time job is farming. If you want a job where you can sit around and do WHATEVER you want WHENEVER you want then apply at the Amamosa State Penitentiary. Then you can abuse inmates to your delight.
Call Warden Sperfslage and ask him how inmates spent nearly a year digging an escape tunnel under Living Unit C while he was the Security Director. Ask him which staff members smuggled money and guns into the inmates who were planning escape through this tunnel. Ask him about the numerous staff members who were allowed to resign after being caught in sexual acts with inmates. Ask him why the staff was allowed to resign and receive no criminal charges while the inmates were sentenced to long periods in lockup. This prevented the public from knowing the criminal acts of the corrupt prison staff. Ask the warden about the female guard in the kitchen, Kelly, who was caught smuggling liquor into the prison. This liquor was given to the inmates to drink as she was conducting oral sex on them. Ask him about the counselor who was fired for being caught doing it "doggy style" in her office with inmates. Ask him about the married counselor who was in an MVA with an inmate immediately after discharge. Ask him about the porn videos that Latin inmates were watching in the chapel. Ask him about the female officer (married to a fellow prison guard) who became pregnant from an inmate.
ALL of this and a whole lot more happened while the current warden was the Security Director. Ask Warden Sperfslage how he deserves his position when he did a lousy job performing his duties as Security Director. Ask him why he LIED while testifying in a federal trial. Then ask him who he thinks is going to forgive him for his sins when he attends church. Inform him his ONLY future residence is HELL>response / report this review -
