Friendly and helpful park rangers will tell you at length about pretty much anything you want to know and answer all your questions. Did I mention they have dioramas? Who doesn't love dioramas?

When entering Rocky Mountain National Park from the west, Grand Lake, side, you fist come to the Kawuneeche visitor center. Definitely worth a stop as you can learn about the main differences between the east and west sides of the park and the history of the Kawuneeche Valley! Plenty of beautiful hikes in the area too!

Helpful staff. They explained where we should go to hike while wearing two children in carriers. Their suggestions were spot on and we had a great time.

WiFi is available here. The service was a treat after traveling from Estes Park with no data. Though the Visitor Center was closed (after hours), the restrooms were open and the WiFi was spot on.
