I love, and appreciate this vet more than any other I have been to. When my pup was very very sick (he didn't make it, but they fought the good fight with him), Dr. Murdock was there every step of the way. I had been at three other vets before coming, and I recommend them to people who don't even live up here. Their prices are INCREDIBLY reasonable, trust me, I had to get multiple tests and procedures done and they were by far the most affordable. If you think thus place is overpriced, especially for the level of care given, you clearly do not go to a good vet.

Fantastic service. Open 24/7 so help is always available. They have seen us through many pets, cats and dogs and all the staff are friendly. Even the way to the animal rainbow is done with compassion and ease. Thank you to you all.

Incredible place, it's one of the best vets we have ever had. The staff is very friendly, the vets are skilled, and they are affordable especially considering the evergreen location and the level of care provided. They also understand the types of injuries and illnesses that come with being an overly adventurous "mountain dog".

My therapy dogs have been cared for by Evergreen Animal Hospital for five years. Vets are caring, explain conditions, procedures, and options for care that gives us confidence in their judgement. Dr. Terry Stephen and has handled surgery for my dogs with knowledge and skill that allowed them to quickly return to service. Staff is animal friendly and efficient.

The best veterinary practice I have ever experienced. The staff is caring and friendly and they take wonderful care of our kitty. I can't imagine a more pleasant, welcoming experience. My wife and I often say that it would be great if they provided our medical care too :-) (and we have a great personal doctor, so that's a real compliment!)

Have gone to Evergreen Animal Hospital for 18 years. Terry Stephens is the best. Have always had great care. The other vets and techs there are very good at their job and really care about your animals.

I have taken my dogs to Evergreen Animal Hospital for years and can't say enough. The people there are friendly and always welcoming. The vets are extremely knowledgeable. They do not "over-prescribe" tests, etc. I highly recommend this place!

I've never heard of a free initial check up. I've never heard of an 8:30 p.m. non-emergency or urgent appointment. Not until yesterday. My dog broke one of her back nails pretty high up on the nail to the point where I didn't feel comfortable handling it myself or letting it run its course without a vet telling me that was ok. I called them because they were closest to me. They got me a same day 8:30 p.m. appointment and assured me that the appointment wouldn't cost anything unless the doctor thought she needed to treat the nail. Still skeptical at this point.

So when the doctor recommended that I just keep trimming the nail as the quick receded and the nail eventually dropped off, AND THAT I GO HOME WITH NO CHARGE, I was shocked. I've never left a vet for a small item without a big charge. I've never had a vet see my dog for the first time without demanding a vet appointment fee of $50+. Iwas still driving to Littleton for these reasons (no discredit to my old vet - she was great too). But Dr. Murdock is my dogs' new vet. Couldn't recommend her more.

Excellent care! The doctors and staff are so friendly, and so caring towards our two pets. They make follow-up calls to see how our dogs are doing. Can't say enough good things about them.

During a weekend trip to Grand Lake, our bulldog got very ill. All of the vets in the area were closed and the closest facility was, unfortunately, in Evergreen. I called to ensure they could see us and the gal said yes. She indicated an emergency charge would be applied but they could look at our dog.

After the hour and a half drive, we arrived just after 9. The facility is beautiful and they promptly let us in. They quickly diagnosed her with kennel cough (which then made sense but didn't initially due to the chronic vomiting). They administered an IV, gave her a shot, prescribed medicine and had us out the door in short order. I was worried about the cost due to the after hours nature, the meds, and the fact that the facility was so nice.

I was pleasantly surprised by the cost of the services. And they followed up with a handwritten card and phone call. I was very happy and would go back again if needed - though I wish they were much closer.
