Seems like a very nice place but it's tough for me to rate because we were there during Hurricane cleanup. I think a lot depends on who owns the condo you are staying in.
I have had wonderful times at the Kawama condos.
I hope that the hurricane didn't cause too much destruction!
Nice central locations with fun amenities. Obviously each unit is different, but generally speaking, these are nice places.
My family and I had the pleasure of spending and amazing week at Kawama Yacht Club. We felt so at home in the beautiful townhouse, with all its special amenities. Plus, the views of the ocean are breathtaking. Thanks Norman
Not terrible, just below average.
Maintenance of buildings pretty much non existent.painting and stucco patching to cover up structural concrete and structural re steel damage on cantilevered balconies is of concern.
Walkway trip hazards are numerous and dangerous. I tripped and went down on one myself walking to the swimming pool.
Pets are walked on site, but their poop remains on the walkways, pathways and,.on the grounds.I did not observe owners walking dogs with a doggie bag on them to pick up the mess.
the upside is my I, my children,my wife and my grandchildren had a good time and at the end of the day, thats what it's all about!
What a cool hideaway in Key Largo. The saltwater lagoon is awesome, kids love swimming in it and feeding the fish. The iguanas are neat too. Has 2 pools and a road that goes way out into the water for great sunsets and snorkeling. Boat ramp, etc
It's beautiful and homey and continues to being us back every time we can come down to the keys
Lot's of fun.
The location is awesome! See the pictures and check it out on the map.
The unit we stayed in was not well kept. I have allergies and dust is a major one. I never have problems in Florida, but 5 minutes in the condo and I was a mess. Needed updating in a big way. G12. Please get a better housekeeper and pay the bill on your WiFi so guests may use it.
It's a shame, because it seems that the pace was really nice back in the day, but it's now run down and cheap looking. We rented a house by the water and all the furniture outdoors was rusty and falling apart. They are also no dog friendly. Dogs cannot be in most areas of the property even on a leash. There's a gate to enter the complex that is many times closed because the guard has to go around checking things, so you might be 5-10 minutes waiting to get in. There's also only one entry, so if you have somebody checking in with a boat, you have to wait in line for them to do all the paperwork until you can access.
