On August 27, 2015 my father, who is 90 and a Veteran, took his 2007 Toyota RAV4 – which had only 46k miles and was PAID OFF – to Kasper Toyota in Sandusky, Ohio to have work done on recalls. Before he left, he was persuaded into signing a 3-year lease on a stripped-down 2015 RAV4. My father has macular degeneration and does not know if he will be driving in three months let alone three years. The dealership claims that my father left the dealership and came back about three hours later with a slip of paper with some figures on it and said that if the dealership could match those numbers, they had a deal. My father tells me that that is a lie and that when he left the dealership, it was in the new vehicle. The dealership also claims to have video showing my father returning to the dealership. My father says that he DID return to the dealership that day IN THE NEW VEHICLE with a check and to retrieve items that were left in his older car. He also returned the next day (August 28) and expressed his dissatisfaction with the new vehicle. He asked how he could get his old car back but he was told it had been sold.

My father said that salesperson Susan Missig was very pushy and took his keys. Someone then took his car “to be appraised”. My father tried to get away from Susan by telling her that he needed to discuss the matter with my sister before he made a decision, but Susan persisted with her sales push. My father said he felt he was being held hostage.

The owner, Bryan Kasper has sided with general manager Troy Maxwell who has been appallingly unprofessional. Troy told me to “put my money where my mouth is”. He proposed that I bring $250 to cover the cost of extracting the footage from the dealership’s security tapes of my father’s visit to the dealership. He told me that if the video shows my father leaving and coming back (supposedly to sign the contract), “you leave $250 lighter but with a shiny new DVD”. At one point he explained to me that, “by the way, high-pressure sales are not illegal”.

In my father’s (and my) opinion, the dealership used high pressure sales to to talk him into something that was clearly in THEIR best interest, not his. If I am not mistaken this is DECEPTIVE AND UNCONSCIONABLE BUSINESS PRACTICES.

Do not do business with these crooks! I purchased my 17-year-old son's first car here. It came with Warranty Forever. Kasper was dishonest from the very beginning. They claimed to have changed the oil and completed an inspection. When my father and I checked the oil, the oil was filthy. I mean it was very thick, black, and contained sediment like it hadn't been changed in years. We later discovered (because they admitted to it) that they hadn't in fact completed an inspection either. They claimed the vehicle was on the lot for too short a period before it was sold to us for them to have completed an inspection. They also have not willingly honored the Warranty Forever. It's been an argument to even have the car looked at. They have claimed to have done work on the car that wasn't done. We live in the Columbus area and brought the car to another local service garage to have looked at after Kasper's so called work was completed only to find out that they didn't do anything. Neither my father and mother nor I will ever do business with Kasper again!

I live a couple hours away so I was trying to find some information on a used vehicle they have and got no info. I knew it was one I was looking for and the price was pretty good so I went through the whole approval and when I was told I was approved they emailed me and ask when I wanted to come in and sign the papers and pick up the car I replied back several times and called in but I never got a response back. It's now been 4 days and I've gotten nothing. Very bad customer service

I have bought 5 cars from Kasper Toyota and my experience was more than stellar! The staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful. I have bought a few cars from other dealerships and the process was fast and thorough. I would recommend them to anyone!!!!

I recently bought a car here and had a good experience. The salesman asked if I'd mind sharing a review onlineso here I am! I was looking online for a car and found one I liked at their dealership. I called and asked about a car. The guy asked me to make an appointment with them so I did. I went there a day later. I met with a salesman and drove the car. The car was nice and I wanted to buy it. It was pretty easy really. I was not there too long which I liked. I would recommend you go here to buy a car. I think you will be very happy.

Kasper Toyota is the most ridiculous dealership in Ohio! We're in the military and we wanted to buy a new SUV. Troy the general manager would not match the price of any other dealer because he has no competition within thirty miles. He said he can sell the cars for whatever price he wants. I purchased my first car from there and thought they would give me a deal on a new one. The sales team was extremely rude and pushy. The general manager asked a friend of ours to prove he got a car for a price lower than his offer, it was FIVE THOUSAND dollars cheaper at Tansky Toyota in Dublin, Ohio. Tansky is amazing and they don't pressure you at all! They threw in extras and even called me a week later to see how I liked the car. KASPER takes advantage of people because the closest Toyota is forty five minutes away! DONT GO TO KASPER TOYOTA next to the Sandusky Mall EVER. Call Tansky and ask to talk to theirf General Manager and he will even test drive the car with you. He will beat any deal and crush any deal KASPER offers. Once again stay far away from any KASPER Dealer in Sandusky Ohio!
