  Excellent airport and facilities. Make sure to check out the museum and the Tin Goose Diner on the southwest corner of the field.
  
  Pilots beware of enormous turkey vultures in the area. 2 months back I had a "runway incursion" with one on rollout after touchdown. A few days ago one crossed directly in front of us on short final, seems he was flying the traffic pattern too but taking off downwind and made a low and abrupt turn to crosswind right in front of us. :) Both encounters happened while landing on runway 9.
