Used to be a great plave for Sushi and Sashimi. After being served not fresh enough fish four times in a row, we never go back. The place has nice private rooms and large private spaces for gatherings.

Lunch special runs from noon to 6pm daily. We went in at 530pm and were able to order the lunch specials. Lunch specials are very good valued! This is Korean Japanese food, which means Sushi, sashimi, tempura, udon with appetizers you can expect at Korean restaurants.

I really wanted to like this place. I really did.
It's really close to where I live, the sushi is really good, and the menu has a pretty good variety of Korean and Japanese.
But man, the last time I went the service was crap. I came with a few friends and after we sat down we didn't even get more than two menus.
Then it took another 30 minutes for water.
Then it took another 20 minutes for someone to finally take our order.
The food came out fast though, but then we had to wait for another 20 minutes for our check.

Food is great I'm a regular customer I always go on lunch breaks to get sushi, but the bar does tend to get out of control. Tonight I experienced a drunk man taking shots with the sushi chef (which can get unprofessional in a family restaurant) discussing politics, I do not disrespect anyone's political opinion but the drunk man became to get angry and started using profanity and disrespecting a certain groups of people I thought it was rude for the business to not handle someone who begins to become that belligerent. I was going to bring my whole family here for dinner but I will never visit here again.

Just ate here for the first time. It was so amazing!! Kang Nam is now our sushi destination of choice. We ordered two fantastic rolls (Dragon and Yami Yami) and they ended up coming with soup/salad and ice cream. Great food, great service, affordable, quality, and nice atmosphere. 💕
