From the moment we arrived we were greeted by very friendly staff (Emily) and we were given clear and importance instructions on riding, since no one in our party had much experience. Every one of our horses were calm and sweet and we could obviously tell how well taken care of they were. The trail ride was enjoyable and the scenery was gorgeous. Our guide was very informative and answered any questions that we had. I will definitely be back again when we visit this area. I truly wish I could take the entire place home with me! To end it all, later in the day, the owner, Brenda, contacted me to find out how our experience was and if there was anything that could’ve made it better. I said no! I definitely recommend this experience for anyone that loves to ride horses.

Had the most amazing time today on our 1 hour trail ride with wranglers Carrie and John. We had tickets through Xplorie and everyone in our group were novice riders. They took their time to explain everything and we learned a tremendous amount not only about the horses, but about being a good rider. I will recommend this excursion to everyone of all riding skill sets. Great people and a great day. Kudos

KB Horses can give you AMAZING experiences with horses, the horse that I currently ride for lessons, Blackjack, is very well trained and so are all the other horses!! You will also find super sweet teachers/instructors up there, like my riding instructor Brenda. They even have dogs!! You will have the most fun time up there, it is good for people of all ages!! I cannot wait to visit again!!!

I have taken numerous trail rides in several different states and from the initial greeting by our friendly and knowledgeable wrangler Mason, KB Horses sets themselves apart from other trail ride experiences I have had. The location in the Red Ledges area of Heber City is beautiful and a scenic 45 minute drive from Salt Lake. KB owns their own horses, unlike many other outfitters that just lease them and they are clearly loved and well cared for. My horse DeeDee was wonderful and I have never ridden on such a comfortable saddle! Safety is of utmost concern ( you are given a mini horsemanship class in the arena before you begin) but this isn't your typical nose to tail trail ride where you feel like your horse is on auto pilot. You are allowed the freedom to explore the trail under your wranglers guidance. Our wrangler Mason was a great conversationalist and kindly accommodated our photo frenzy. I would highly recommend KB Horses to riders of all levels for a fantastic cowgirl/cowboy experience!

KB Horses is a place I highly recommend for anyone that would like an amazing experience for horse riding. This is not your typical nose-to-tail type of horse riding experience, which is why I chose this place. They let you walk next to each other, or take a small side trail as long as you're able to be seen by the wrangler. I'm glad I had the opportunity to get to know the owner, Brenda. She knows and loves every single one of her horses, and will be happy to tell you about all of them! She will teach you what you need to do to gain trust with your horse, before you even get on their back. We had mostly beginner riders, and even one with zero experience, but they make sure you also know how to control your horse, and are comfortable before you take off for the trail. The ride was beautiful. The wranglers were wonderful, and we loved having them take us on our ride! (thank you McKenzie & Mason!). I will be back, again and again. I have found my place to ride :D

I had the opportunity to intern with KB HORSES this summer and it was truly a life changing experience. I live in Ohio, so I was over 1500 miles from home, but Brenda, Emily, and Shannon truly made me feel at home for the summer. KB HORSES allowed me to learn so much about their small business this summer. I learned so much about the herd, how the business operates, how to work with guests, and how to deal with a wide range of situations that will help me through life. I also learned a lot about my self and grew a lot as an individual. Working with guests every day allowed my communication skills to grow in a way no other job or internship could have offered. Interning with KB HORSES is something I would highly recommend. Most importantly I had so much fun this summer. I had the opportunity to meet so many people and learn so much. KB HORSES is a truly unique experience for quests. Your ride is private, the views are beautiful, and you are able to ride off trail and experience truly riding a horse. I already miss the people, the horses (they're all awesome), the dogs(Sadie specifically), and the beautiful mountains.

We had a great experience! They taught us step by step how to ride the horses. They were easily adaptable to our needs. The instructor was great. Brenda was very informative when I asked her so many questions prior to scheduling our time. We all were first time riders and this was a great place to come for that. I would totally recommend KB horses to anyone.

The interns are incredibly nice and helpful. We were in from out of state, and were unable to ride the entire path (we were on a time crunch!), so she led us back and the owner was very understanding.. this is a wonderful place for beginners or even more experienced riders. I hope we make it back to this ranch in the near future. Thank you so much!

I would highly recommend KB horses the next time you would like to go horse back riding. The staff is extremely helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and very oriented on making sure you have an enjoyable ride. The customer service is great from the moment you book until you dismount your trusty steed! You can book quickly too for private rides. I called to get some information and was set up on a private ride with my wife less than an hour later. I was in from out of town and wanted to show my wife the beautiful mountains and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience.

Owner was mean. My youngest cried. The ride was through a new housing development and views were not any different than the highway. My family paid over $600 to ride horses, and instead of boosting self esteem and having fun, my kids felt terrified of our guide. Owner yelled at us immediately because we were friendly with her dogs that jumped in our car. She was trying to train them not to do that and apparently it was our fault for being kind. She had no sense of humor and there was nothing enjoyable about the horse ride. If we stayed in line, she yelled at us. If we ventured off, she yelled at us. Might be ok if you don't intend to talk or take children or care about the scenery. Otherwise, choose another stable.

Loved it! The horses were so well cared for and the guide was really fun. It was a beautiful area to ride and nice equipment. We went on a 2 hour ride and saw lots of animals and scenery including views of Mt. Timpanogos. We can't wait to go back!

This is the place to go if you're looking for a ride. The property is gorgeous and full of wildlife, and you get wonderful views of the Heber valley, including great spots to look out at Mt. Timpanogos. I've had the pleasure of riding a few of their horses, and each one has been well trained and well cared for. The guides are knowledgable and happy to answer any questions you have, and they'll be sure you're comfortable on your horse before taking you out, so experience is not an issue - they're suitable for any rider. Best ride in the valley!
