Every funky thing you could imagine. From costumes to kitsch, there is a mind boggling array of wigs, toys, incense, jewelry, dishes, games, hats, graphic tees, emo/goth fashion, and a lot of other weird, fun stuff. There is even a headshop in the back if that's your bag. You might think you're wasting an afternoon on mindless shopping, but I'd bet you'll leave entertained and just maybe in possession of a new wacky treasure.
5 stars for just being a wacky place. You'll be entertained just being in here.
I loved the atmosphere and products available from this unique store. They did have a sign that they now carry plus sizes, but I did not see them anywhere. That's unfortunate as I would have bought so much more!
This place is awesome and I love visiting every time I'm in atl. Unique clothes and gifts and awesome finds. They have some great prices too. I always love their shopping bags as odd as that sounds, each one is practically a work of art itself.
Always a fun experience every time I go to this store. I can always find something I absolutely love even if its clothes or little nick-knacks. The staff are always quirky and fun. Even if you aren't looking to buy you can always come to this store for a good laugh and time well spent.
I always find something interesting here. The clothing selection is eclectic and accessories are somethings you can find at Hot Topic. But it is an experience.
A great place to find something you won't see anywhere else. Funky vintage, edgy fashion, crafty items, and work of local artists.
Awesome little shop! Selection including art, tapestry and and inscense & so much more! Be prepared to have fun in here!
The coolest place. It has opened my mind to new and different fashion. Walking through the shop is always an adventure.
Come for all of your Hippie, burner, and geeky clothing needs, stay for the eclectic books and decor, and don't leave without sniff testing the entire incense section. Also: local art. You can't go wrong here.
The parking Nazis have gotten worse from year to year. Although I love to see the eclectic merch, I'm not much into paying the $7 to park and hang for the time.
Expected the awesome store that's in Athens. This Junkman's more like a Hot Topic or Journey. Cool store if you're 14 looking for the latest MTV look.
CHECK YOUR CHANGE. I may not be a frequent flyer, but I have been a local and loyal customer for roughly 10 years. A specific veteran employee, one long, curly-haired brunette male cashier, has now attempted to significantly short me on change for at least the third time in the past few years. This is a seemingly honest mistake, but I'm less inclined to offer the benefit of doubt with such reoccurance from one specific individual, who likely does not recognize me as a repeat customer. The last time it happened a year ago, I walked out the door before I realized, turned right back around, but he argued with me about the amount, and of course had never offered me a receipt. I'm not one to raise hell over $15 from over a year ago, but the recurring coincidence today was too questionable not to mention publicly/to management.
This place has such a wide assortment of unique clothing, accessories, artwork, and home goods. Perfect for finding gifts. Lots of nerdy things and stuff for kids. It was fun just looking at everything here, you could spend hours here.
We really enjoy visiting Junkman's throughout the year. We can always find eclectic items that make great gifts for those we love. We have found some really cool items for our place here, too. The cashier service here is usually okay. You may have to actually ask for help with any items on the sales floor though.
