The park and the facilities are beautiful and we'll maintained. The run is one of the best I've ever been on. The only draw-back is the staff, who can only be described as "Half-Way-House Refugees". They were low class, dirty, toothless, chain smoking, meth-head types. The company, according to Google, offers insurance, so this "look" is a obviously a personal choose for them. While there were a precious few who were genuinely friendly, the majority of them walked around with huge chips on their shoulders. The short, snippy, comments and answers that were given, and the know-it-all attitude, paired quite well with the condescending tone in which they spoke. I doubt that any of them are actually Florida natives, but they claim to be experts on the area. While on the run, with plenty of time left to go, a dirty, overweight staff member who was obviously not enrolled in the dental plan, paddled up with a cigarette in her mouth and attempted to rush us to the end of the run. She made multiple passive-aggressive comments and threatened us with all kinds of extra charges if we didn't stay on her schedule. This was completely uncalled for, as there was plenty of time left for the completion of the run. We, in fact, made our shuttle(not even the last one of the day) in a timely manner. I visit the park whenever I have company in town and I will continue to do so. The place is so beautiful that I refuse to let the attitude and demeanor of an untrained and uneducated staff stand in the way of such a wonderful resource. My wish is that the park could be run by knowledge, competent, and professional people who possess the ability to be helpful, courteous, and informative. My goal is to let people know what to prepair for, and to enlist help in getting better management, thus making juniper springs a truly magical place.

This is my favorite place to camp. Was just there in early December and had a great time. It is very well maintained and always well staffed.

Awesome location for camping off the grid! Even has hot showers and dishwashing station. Swimming at Juniper Springs clear water is the best. Camping fees are reasonable.

SO much fun, such a beautiful park, I recommend to everyone. Especially in the wintertime. Campsites are private, there are plenty of trails and an amazing canoe run, though be warned- grab your bug repellent!

It seems as if people are looking for some sort of "wet and wild" type of park. This is a calm and quiet park. You do not go here to drink, dive, yell, and pile a bunch of people into a canoe as I've read in all negative reviews.
In my opinion I think it's lovely, the spring is natural and yes it has vegetation as it should. You do have to carry your canoe or kayak on a buggy to the river and back up again, for experienced people or adults this would be no problem. The river is small and quite beautiful and natural, and there are no swimming areas along it. I get it because some of the people who visit are foreigners and there are gators in the river, so to minimize having to put both the animals and guests at risk, you cannot swim there. The bathrooms were cleaned daily which helped to combat all the dirt people would track in. Yes it has ticks, it's a forest. Yes you have to be quiet past 10pm because of people like me who are, as someone stated, "Mormon" and go to sleep early so they can wake up at an earlier time. The campgrounds are not as small as someone else stated but they are only big enough for 2-3 tents. If you have a large family I would suggest sleeping in groups or getting multiple sites.
Please take these things into consideration before you visit to prevent any other bad experiences here. I believe this is a great park to visit but I can understand why others may not feel the same.

When i first went here it was amazing, beautiful, and wonderful. But i went there recently. This spring has changed completely it's not the same spring it used to be. My family paid maybe 60 bucks to get in. The place was in my opinion trashed. It was not as fun or pretty as it used to be. Just like Hunter springs has been destroyed, so has juniper. Its sad but true. I have crossed this spring off my list.

This place was beyond disappointing. Please do not waste your money. I drove two hours to a "watering hole". There were so many people in the small swimming area that we decided to leave. By the time we walked down there and back it was about 30 minutes. The people in the front wouldn't even refund our money. We didn't even get to step into the water, but they had no problem taking our money. I would give less than 1 star if possible. We will never be back. Thank you for nothing.

Amazing park! great staff, and awsome place to enjoy with Family, but be aware when you go camping during summer, I won't do it again. Spring is beautiful, bathrooms are clean, the place is nice! The only negative thing I found was the extremely hot, burning water in the showers. I would like to suggest to the owner make this beautiful place better, and let this privilege for cold season. Thank You, we had a Great time!

We've come here several times, and the last one was to take my son camping for his 5th birthday. The campsites are awesome, the grounds staff are a bit inconsiderate, and the spring be it very small (compared to the ones that aren't walled in), is very pretty. Little fish everywhereThere's also the famous kayak run but I haven't done that, it looks nice though.
Also the boardwalk has been down since October.. So..

A gator-free, fresh-water spring with a sandy that stays naturally at 72 degrees. The water is so clean you can see to the bottom. Very relaxing.

So much fun! Great get away and surprisingly NOT crowded. The staff does an amazing job at controlling traffic and are always there to answer any questions you may have.

Let me start by saying the outdoor area is beautiful so if you're looking for a quiet family/Mormon appropriate area you're in the right place. The campsites are TINY so be prepared to stay at the motel 8 of campgrounds - with that being said the bathrooms and grounds are clean and updated which is huge plus. The springs are clear and cool but tiny and everything is roped off around where fixing and updating are needed with no signs of renovations. The hall monitor basically does laps around the small pool checking that no one has anything other than a biodegradable juice box. Forget sitting around a campfire, listening to tunes and enjoying an adult beverage unless it's before 10 o'clock. It's lights out and "library voices" (yes they did use that analogy) after that! But don't worry you get 3 warnings and using they're wrapped into one coming from a disgruntled security officer that is pointing his finger yelling like he's preaching to a group of 3rd graders. This went on every half hour as he made his rounds and drove slowly by in his golf cart. Summary: if you're between the ages of 21-fun don't go there! The nature-party combo you're looking for will not be found in between the stern talking to and babysitting provided so generally by the graveyard shift.
Disclaimer: I'm not a rebellious millennial. This was a group of adult professionals.

**Let me reiterate it was the behavior and response of the security team that was such a surprise/let down. I never expect to be treated that way especially when I am being respectful. Being yelled at and talked over when you're not speaking in that mannerism is unacceptable and disrespectful!
