Beautiful setting for Kayaking. Close in yet seems like old Florida.

This is a nice little preserve on Spruce Creek in Port Orange. There's lots of peacocks and trees and the pontoon boat ride was nice as well. My only complaint is that one of the speakers seemed to be clueless in what is she appropriate for the kids in our group (school field trip) and went into uncomfortable details about some things that could have been left out. The tractor/wagon ride was interesting and the kids were very engaged by the lady doing it. We will go back for sure!

Went especially to see the Gamble homestead. So SAD to see it in such a rundown, unkempt condition! What a shame!

Safe parking, and shady paddling. $5 drop in fee to bring your own kayak is a bargain for a location like this.

Good caming area, the bathroom is a little bit of a walk from out group site. We went in April durin peacock matting season and they made noise all night. Close to the river and offered boat ride and rental of canoes.

Cracker Creek was a lot of fun. It's location was perfect, the land was beautiful, and the staff was very friendly. My daughter and I had a fantastic time here.

Classic Florida cracker house with canoe and kayak rentals. Peacocks around the office frequently fly up to the live oaks.

Need better access to the historical Gamble Place. You can only pay to see the outside. Since I have to pay to launch my own kayak the attendant should help me with my kayaks too Or at least offer. I am surprised they don't have pay toilets too!

WARNING!! Poisonous SNAKES are EVERYWHERE at Cracker Creek!!!

BE CAREFUL!!! We saw a large snake which looked like a rattlesnake near the restrooms!!!!
    AND a Poisonous Water Moccassin
Cotton Mouth literally chased after my daughter when we were near the canoes and kayak launch point by the water! she is lucky to be alive!!

The place is swarming with Mosquitoes which can carry ZIKA virus so avoid this place if you're a young woman who might want to have a baby someday because Zika Virus causes mental retardation in babies!

The alligators in the creek can be very aggressive and the kayaks tip over easily!

There are no warning signs about the poisonous snakes or Alligators so it's like a death trap at Cracker Creek

I'd avoid this place. There is no one around to help if you're injured or need urgent medical care !
