  I was very disappointed with the experience I had at Jumbolair this weekend for a wedding I attended, We stayed at the mansion on the grounds near the reception hall. It was extremely outdated and dirty, Roaches everywhere and filth. Smelled horrible and the A/C took 15 hrs to even cool the house down 5 degrees, Not to mention half the lights didn't work and when I went to turn one light on I was electrocuted because wires where exposed. All around just a horrible experience and Shelby wasn't a cup of tea either, When the reception ended Me and My Wife ended up staying to help out and she showed up in a Rebel flag shirt that and it appeared she wasn't wearing any pants, She was wearing shorts that where just so short you couldn't see them She also had a bad attitude towards us that wasn't appreciated at 1am when I was helping out not being paid I would recommend looking very closely at this place before making any decisions.

  Its cool that john travolta lives here but other than that this place is nothing special. Security is a joke because the side gates are unlocked 24/7 so anyone can just wonder on to the property. The guy who so called owns it frank mershman treats it like its his own personal play ground and runs around on heavy equipment and whenever he feels like it creates a ruckus pushing trees over for no reason. Is the most bipolar man ive ever met, brags about how rich he is then the next day hes stressing over $900 rent and taxes he cant pay. Then the maintenance man who looks like he just crawled out from under a rock is high all day everyday and can barely manage a conversation. Instead of a maintenance title he should just be called franks do boy. The buildings on this property are falling apart and dilapidated as well as the runway. I dont see any benefit to living here when the lots that were purchased so cheap are now $350k. With the ocala airport so close by its way more convienent to keep your plane there or simply charter flights than to deal with this pathetic attempt at a "airport". Honestly if you jave the money and you want a place thats worth it and has amenities like no other then choose golden ocala, because im getting out of here as fast as humanly possible. All this place ever has going on os some weddings and local high school proms. Saddest excuse for a exclusive community ever.

  Our stay at jumbolair was a positive unforgettable experience. The professional staff took care of our every request and need in very timely manners. The inn has a great layout with all the amenities needed to relax and feel pampered throughout the stay. I look forward to coming back for the most pleasurable of experiences.
