The last 2 x-mas party's that we ate there, the food was awful! I ordered there chicken & it was raw. So they gave me a new order & the outside was nice & charred but the middle was still raw! I couldn't eat it because I wad going thru chemo & couldn't take any chances on getting sick, & any pasta w/ sauce would upset my stomach because of the chemo side effects.

Ate there on Thanksgiving. Food was delicious! My special request was met and delivered with a smile and graciousness! Casey, our server, was absolutely the best!

Stopped for lunch with a co-worker. The food was great as always. However seated at the bar booth, the service was most disrespectful. The server practically banged our dishes on the table and was clearly not interested to wait on us. Without uttering a word, we were made to feel very unwelcome. This is the first time I have experienced this in my numerous visits to Carinos.

The Italian Nachos are a very interesting appetizer. We ordered them without the jalapeños. Still very flavorful. I added the unlimited side salad to my entree, but barely made it through the first very generous serving. The chicken fettuccine alfredo was delicious. The pasta was exactly the way I like it, and the sauce was the prefect consistency. The chicken was tender, and cut into quite manageable pieces.
We each took home a generous portion, plus the bread, and they provided a bag to carry it all in. We spent less than 60 for the entire experience - well worth it in my book.
If there was a downside, it was that the entrées arrived before we finished the appetizer and our salad/soup course. The table got a bit crowded.

Stopped by for lunch with family during a day of shopping. The restaurant was not particularly busy, so we were seated immediately. Once seated, it took 15 minutes or more for a server to approach our table. She told us that we weren't in her area, but she would help us, which was much appreciated. Our food didn't come out at the same time. It was on par with other Johnny Carino's when we did finally receive it. Due to our wait times and prices paid relative to quality of food and experience, I will probably try somewhere else next time I eat in Columbus, but I'll eventually give Carino's another shot.

I love this place. If you can, sit in the bar for better atmosphere. I like a lot of their pasta dishes, but also could just sit there and eat the bread dipped in olive oil & roasted garlic all day. Gets busy on weekends--weeknights are your best bet.

Great for business lunch. 7.99 lunch menu and very fast service. If you are taking an employee/coworker/client out for lunch I would recommend this location!

Very good service and very good food. My last visit I was there for lunch, my server was very friendly and took very good care of us. Food was very good too, very classic American-Italian style. Restaurant was not super busy but had quite a few people for lunch in a week day. Best Italian place in Columbus hands down.

Always friendly service, food is pretty consistent, but it's not as good as other Italian restaurants.

We like it. I do wish though the dishes marked as spicy actually were so.

Consistently good food and service. Nice atmosphere. The lunch menu is very reasonably priced and there is a wide variety of choices. The Italian chili is great, as are the Italian Margaritas. The spicy Romano chicken is a great choice.

Pretty good environment. Love the fact you can see the kitchen. Our group went in and it took about 20 minutes for someone come over and take our drink order. We didn't mind so much. Staff was excellent and with us being a larger table we knew we were gonna be a handful. Definitely worth a visit if you have never been
