Mr. Drake represented me in a child support, child custody case amongst many other court orders that my ex husband had failed to do . Mr. Drake appeared to be knowledgeable about the plan of action he was going to take to produce results on my case His staff also seemed at first to be knowledgeable when I hired Mr. Drake. But unfortunately I was in for a very big rude awakening ! I guess my turning point was when we stood before Judge Rogers here in Rutherford Co TN and the Judge called Mr. Drake out telling him it was his job as the lawyer to know what documents to file and to know what could & could not be ask for in the court of law according to the law !! So my case ended up being a complete waste of time I got absolutely no where with Mr. Drake's services They talk about what all they are going to do to win the case but unfortunately it seems to be just that TALK ! In the end I found myself calling days in and days out trying to get the secretary Kellie to return my calls and answer my emails Every week I would call and there would always be an unbelievable amount of excuses as to why my case was not receiving the proper attention and dedication that my case rightfully deserved ! Every week someone would be sick , someone would be dead , someone would be on vacation , someone would be out of state ect. It was absolutely exhausting and just trying to remind them constantly all the stuff that I had requested to be done on my case Weeks & weeks would pass and still nothing had been done Then to top it all Mr. Drake would make agreements with my ex husband's attorney without my acknowledgement ! We would get in the court room and Mr. Ward which was my ex husband's attorney would speak up and say well myself and Mr. Drake had all ready agreed upon things! I was beyond upset because I felt that was very shady of the attorney Mr. Drake that I hired to take care of my case to make arrangements and agreement with the other attorney not consulting me to ask me what I wanted to do ! Needless to say I saw NO RESULTS with Mr. Drake and unfortunately was in court just a few days ago and Judge Rogers was reviewing my file because it was such an absolute mess from where Mr. Drake had again not filed the proper needed docs to handle and navigate through my case against my ex husband. So here Iam now way over a year later still trying to fix all the crap that was messed up while I had Mr. Drake as my attorney ! He is for sure a smooth talker and his assistant appears to be very caring and compassionate but once you pay that all changes ! Needless to say I had to fire Mr Drake and move on

I needed a lawyer to represent me in a probation violation. It was my second violation and I just didn't want to go to jail again. I searched the Internet for "Best Lawyers In Murfreesboro" and John Drake came up, next to other lawyers. I called him and left a message with his secretary and he got right back to me. I told him my problem and he went right to work before I even paid him. He told what to do, he had a plan, he met with my Wife and I and he treated us like family. He didn't make promises but he said he would fight for me and that's exactly what he did. He faught to the end for me and the result was. NO JAIL TIME. That's exactly what we wanted and HE DID IT!!! If ypu need an attorney call him. WHAT A RELIEF!! Thanks Mr. Drake.

I have been using John Drake for the past 6 years, and am always pleased with the services. Everyone is so friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. I wouldn't trust anyone else for my legal needs. He is highly recommended.

I have known Mr. Drake for approximately 10 years and have always known him to be very up front and honest with his clients. He told me exactly what he thought he could accomplish for me and delivered. He did my divorce and I got everything I wanted. His staff was always very friendly and helpful. I will continue to use him for all my legal needs.
