There liars. They are the worst company I ever dealt with. I purchased a 18 speed from a 13 speed. They used my back half and never even checked it nor did they rebuild it. They told me it was a complete rebuilt granny it wasn't. There liars

Took me over a year and a half but I finally received a refund for most of my out of pocket. Got a call from Joe's to ask that I repost my review. This is my repost and suggestion that communication is the key to a more harmonious outcome.

Purchased a shaft mounted brake assembly for a Ford 450. Had to make many many calls to even get anyone on the phone to place the order, should have been a clue!!!! Did finally get them on the phone and placed the order. Part came in as ordered but three days later started calling to return the part as was allowed on the back of the order invoice! Called for almost three months and got one person twice , but they could not "authorize a return". After no luck calling I went ahead and returned the part, which they have along with my $1,150 bucks. Contacted the BBB in the area who were little to no help as the information provided by Joe was not pertinent to my order. Almost a year later Joe's agreed to return the parts(not yet) and now has agreed to send my $1,150 bucks back. I'll advise if this happens as I have little to no faith in them doing what they said haven given notice in writing as to my refund on the way. Local DA and or legal advice will be sought in ten days if no action is taken on Joe's part. Darn shame you have to resort to showing your butt to get folks to do what they say, and or the right thing!

Had Joe build me a13 speed and it don't shift correctly in 7 &8. gears. When you split the gears it don't shift most of the time! So he takes off the back half and puts the back half of my 10 speed on the 9 speed! Couldn't down shift from 5th to 4th. So he builds me a new 13 speed. Same problem doesn't shift correctly when you split 7th & 8th gears! Truck was back there 4 times and he cost me a month worth of work! And I have to drive this POS transmission because after paying almost 6 grand for tranny and no work I'm broke! And sooner or later I have to miss MORE work because it still don't shift right after 3 weeks of driving it! I heard they were the best! Well they ain't no more! Can't build a 13 speed!

I have a repair shop and have installed multiple transmissions that they have built they have all worked flawlessly! We installed one in a truck that is used primarily off road and has broken almost every piece of the drive train, Joe's units have outlasted the factory units at least twice as long if not three times as long! Very knowledgeable and their attention to detail is second to none great group of guys Thanks Dave and Joe. Al Cavoto Arizona Auto Repair

joes transmission in Butler, PA screwed me. Get a load of this they did my TC and tranny.

Over year ago I got both back and installed them and both started leaking like siv before I even drove the truck! They came out to my house and supposedly fixed everything but still all was leaking again a few days later.

Then once I got to driving the truck the transmission wouldn't go into third. They blamed me and said I didn't put shifter in right. After much frustration I pulled tranny and showed up at their door. They concluded third gear was bad. How do they miss this!!!? No quality assurance.

Now almost Year later Tc leaking still like river they don't return any calls or emails. I don't want them to fix I want my money back.

Now after I have surface of TC apart I see two yokes that are pitted and worn and obviously should have been sleeved. No wonder it doesn't seal. Common sense. That's why both of leaking. Also out of seven surfaces that require gaskets they used NONE. They used rtv which must have been put on by a three year old. Sloppy and inconsistent. No wonder leaks ervyerywhere.

My driver found them on Ebay (when I was just about to order a transmission from Orlando Florida) with all good reviews.
I obviously went over to check other online reviews and I had my reservations about them after reading one bad review here in Google.
I gave them a try because they were close to Freightliner in DuBois PA where the truck was and also their transmission was the one who had the best price.
Dave answered the phone after a couple of times trying and did Absolutely everything he could to help us out (and to the mechanics at Freightliner DuBois) making this unpleasant situation we went through a better one.
He was there before, during and after we installed their transmission assisting in pretty much everything.

We as a company have 5 stars in customer reviews and know how hard is to please everybody but truth to be told they went above and beyond to help us out and that is something I will never forget.

Thank you Dave and your working team at Joe's Transmission in Butler, PA. I highly recommend your services and transmissions.

Joe's Transmission went the extra mile and provided excellent customer service. I had a Chevy 5 speed rebuilt and it works great. They were up front and did a quality rebuild.

WORST COMPANY EVER!!! INCOMPETENT AND WORTHLESS!!!!

after purchase of a rebuilt transfer case. the unit failed after two weeks and about 80 miles of use.
took another two weeks before i got a return call. i was told they don't need to warranty the unit and it is my problem not theirs and got hung up on. Apparently they don't answer phones anymore or return emails since i tried for over a month to contact them with no response. so im stuck with their piece of crap transfer case and out 1,400.

Their website states all units include one year warranty and they will go the extra mile to satisfy customers. bull, their warranty is no better then the paper you wipe your ass with and during no time did they try to help or go any sort of distance. i would give them negative five stars if i could.

Never again will i do any kind of deal with JOE BLOWS worst company i ever dealt with and deserve to be shut down due to false advertising and the inability to produce a quality product.

STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM JOE BLOWS TRANS.
