Good food and good service that's fast too will be back when I'm in town
Lived within walking distance of Jocks and Jill's for about a year. Gets the busiest around 4 to 6pm on weekdays with everyone dodging traffic right after work. Delicious burgers and great beers on tap. Staff is always friendly and attentive.
Great place for a quick bite and a beer (or 3) to end the day or watch the game. Try the sweet potato tots!
Group of 8. First they wanted to set us outside—too chilly. Our next option was 6 to a table and 2 at another. I said just put two more chairs at the larger table!!! How hard was that?? Half way thru our meal they ran a vacuum right next to us for at least 15 minutes. It was very loud. Also, while a couple of the guys were watching a game, a manager came and changed the channel with the game tied and 30 seconds left. We were told we would receive a discount on our meal. The ticket said “Uniform 25%” but the discount was actually 15%. The only plus was that the waitress was very good, as was the food.
I work in the area and have eaten quite a few times. Ford is good for typical bar food with a couple of healthier options. However, I went yesterday after not being there for a few months and was hit with a powerful mold or mildew smell one the waiting area. Will make me rethink returning.
The service was adequate at best. Ordered a maker's mark on the rocks and it came half water and half makers. Had a Reuben and the Corned Beef was like eating rubber. Best part of the meal was the garden salad. The friend I was with had fries with his steak and he said the fries tasted like they were sitting out all day.
Stopped in for a work lunch. The food was good, but the service was a little slow. I had an Asian chicken salad, and my husband's tater tots were good too. There was wait and the hostess' seemed really disorganized.
Awesome place to hang out and watch the games. Good beer selection and great food. All house made for the food so provides an amazing taste
Good food options. Despite an oversight our server really made up for it. We had a table area in the back. Good food.
In town on businessthis was close to the hotel. Being by myself i just sat at the bar. Bartender was good. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was really good. Will go back if im ever in the area again.
While in Charlotte for work, and staying at the nearby hotel, this place seemed a logical place to come. The service was very good. The outdoor patio is a nice place to get away from the TVs. Not that there was anything wrong with the sports theme and live sport playing, it was nice to have the outdoor option to distract from the screens. Food came quick, and was good. I will be back in Charlotte in a couple months, and will for sure come here again.
Great staff and very sporty atmosphere.. great food and drinks.. definitely recommend
The service was marginal. The place flows poorly. The food is awful. Soggy wings. Soggy bread with very little meat on cheesesteak. Fries were okay. Burger overdone. And the place is loud and not real comfortable. First time I felt this way. Second time was no better. Won't be a third time.
Loved the service from the door all the way to the kitchen! The staff was great! Any server that passed our table would speak or have small conversation. Great people! Great food!
Cracks me up when people say the food is average. IT'S A BAR!! That being said, it's great bar food! Wings, nachos, philly, burgers all good. Comfort food is good too, pot roast, meatloaf. Prices are great, drink specials daily. Bartenders are fun and pour good drinks. Sports bar mentality is def in fleek! TVs everywhere with every game on. Fun atmosphere, everyone is friendly.
I stopped in for take out and had the monster chicken burrito. The food was great, bar staff was super friendly, and their prices were very reasonable. Like another reviewer said, there must have been 50 tvs showing different sports. Would highly recommend.
