Friendly and efficient staff. One of the few places I can go to and know I'm not being lied to.

No, OSHA does NOT inspect every 6 months. I used to work there. Employees are required to wear safety glasses and slip resistant shoes at corporate storesthis store (or the coralville store) does not enforce this rule. This Jiffy Lube is FAR from being number one. It's also true that there are no floor drains at the Iowa City location. These Jiffy Lubes actually over charge for most services (when compared to surrounding stores). Not only that but I have even witnessed the employees smoking weed and drinking beer on the clock.

First of all they don't follow OSHA safety standards (standards set for safety to even be ALLOWED ON THE FLOOR to work that day at other corporate Jiffy Lubes). Second of all, as part of the service they are REQUIRED to check all your filters, tire pressure, wiper blade condition, lights, transmission, washer, power steering fluids, belts and print out manufacturers recommendations (I have gone to A+ Jiffy Lubes in cities with much better facilities, with much safer working conditions) as well as show you a sheet of any other conditions they find on your car. They didn't even check my tires. Plus there are no floor drains for proper petroleum (or other fluids) disposal, they just push the water outside. This Jiffy Lube would be shut down if it were properly inspected.

They always leave me waiting for at least 45 minutes. I never know if the fluid levels are actually going to be topped off or not, and I dread the obligatory visit from the tech who comes in telling me that some filter or other needs to be replaced (half the time you can tell they hate that part of their job too). I wouldn't go there for free.
