Not impressed. Obviously they're not putting money into the exhibits or building. Would not recommend. Maybe for schoolkids doing a class project.

Lots of good information about the Jekyll Club Era of the island. You can take a tour of the homes starting from this location. Nice gift shop too.

For a free museum that is awesome. The lay out is rather good for working within the confines of the existing structure. I believe the update that coming will be fantastic for its future.

There is a reason this museum is free, it needs an update to what they have and asap. The beginning of the walking tour of the museum is really just reading a-lot luckily im a little interested in history so we actually enjoyed it but if you don't have the time or you are not interested in the history you'll be bored. The second part was actually more fun and interactive even for the adults. Make the most of it its free, and step into the gift shop not a-lot to choose from and what there is, is a little pricey but its not that bad.
