I’ve used this dentist for the past few years only because they took my insurance but now I no longer have insurance and I still went because I was told my x-rays were still valid so it would be cheaper for me to go here then find a new dentist, so I went to get a wisdom tooth extracted.(mind you I made an appointment to get the same tooth extracted last year and I was told it doesn’t need to be removed) now I have to pay out of pocket. Anyways after waiting 30 minutes for my appointment Dr.Harrison doesn’t know my name doesn’t know why I’m there and then tells me I need new x-rays because they’re outdated, once told her that I was told when booking the appointment that they are good until June. All of a sudden I didn’t need new x-rays that cost $100 (she wasn’t looking for the specifics she just wanted me to pay for new x-rays) I was then told by her that she can’t tell me how much the procedure would be, until she starts working, I felt uneasy the entire time I began to tell her some pain I’ve been having aside from my wisdom tooth, and she said “no it doesn’t work like that” and she didn’t give me an explanation after and when I asked for one, she seemed frustrated. If you can’t do a simple thing as a doctor and make someone feel welcome and answer questions about their pain then you shouldn’t be in the medical field I obviously got up and left. I’d rather pay close to $500 and have a good, safe experience than ever give my money to someone that obviously tried to scam me with x-rays and lack professionalism.

This is the most ratchet dentist I’ve ever been to. Dr Harrison had a rude attitude and she was pretty bad at her job, they messed up my gums and left them sore for a week even though it was a simple filling. If this is the only place that takes your insurance in Milledgeville save yourself some trouble and drive to Macon

I have heard very bad things about Dr Harrison from the time I moved here in 1996 until now I needed a root canal and she was the only Dr that would do it with my Medicare I was scared because I heard she cause pain, but I felt it was worth it Being honest I felt no pain not even what I expected from another dentist That was my first time going to her I tried to set up another visit to have my teeth filled but I was put on hold for over three minutes I called back later and it went to voice saying leave name and number and they will return call later The voicemail was not accepting any more voicemails it was full So clearly none of those voicemails could have been returned She may have been good, but her staff would not let me find out I called a more professional dentist office

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. I went to get a cleaning and tooth pulled . Her hygienist never cleaned my teeth. The doctor herself only gave me antibiotics about three different ones and said to take them. I went back to see if my tooth can be pulled again she gave me more antibiotics. I complained about not getting my cleaning and that my insurance was charged but nothing was done.

It was my first time here. I transferred from another dentist in town. I was scheduled for a 6 month cleaning. Everything went better than I could have hoped for. All staff were friendly and professional.
