They have Wonderful Vets and Staff. We have took our baby there for almost 5 yrs. Well yesterday they held us though the hardest part putting our baby down at almost 12 yrs old. They where so kind

My kitten had to have surgery, it was successful, at least we thought so 2 days later we took my kitten back to the vet because he was being lethargic and when we were there, there was no doctor and my kitten stopped breathing and the people there had no idea what to do:( they are pricey and when I had questions they were not answered.

Similar experience as Alison. On a clinical level things are great but when an emergency arose it significantly went down hill. Something similar happened years back with the brother. Definitely not what Terry Zahn described on the whole. Such a claim is ridiculous. You'd have to routinely visit every veterinarian everywhere around the world which seriously I doubt is possible. In the end it would still be point of view.

Similar situation as another reviewer.
I wouldn't repeat the experience and writing an extensive review won't bring my pet back. Many reviewers want you to believe it is flawless here and will be this way for everyone but it isn't. Long time locals are receiving better care than newer clients (even in the event of an emergency) and I've witnessed this all over the area which is wrong! This mentality is hurting Janesville and southern Wisconsin on the whole and is nothing short of animal cruelty. Unfortunately it won't receive justice because it isn't a five minute fix so like everything else in this country it goes to crap.

One last thing in response to the marketing person who responded to my review. Who would! I mean honestly who keeps notes of that sort of thing let alone what was specifically discussed in private on a phone conversation to the EXACT DETAIL!! Even if it was performed it is easily manipulated by parties of interest who could be motivated by personal gain. I think your argument invalid and only adds to guilt. You would need an exact (unmodifiable) record of phone calls, timing, etc..Something only legal authorities could obtain and seriously I doubt they will for the death of a pet so get real!

Requested an appointment as a new patient for a cat with a suspected blockage.
Very courteously treated via phone, even had time of appt bumped forward when I called to report my Reggies worsening symptoms.

Upon arrival, the vet working( not the regular vet) insisted we leave immediately to go to the Emergency Vet in Madison. Now, I get it that he was wanting to do the best thing for saving the cat. However, this cat was in great pain and writhing around terribly. Pain meds could have been administered, or SOMETHING could have been done. Or, my other options could have been explained( including euthanasia).
We drove the chaotic heavy traffic highway to Madison, with a cat who was bellowing in pain.
Ultimately, I made the heartwrenching decision to put our Reggie to sleep,
I would have expected such a procedure to be able to be performed in any vet office, and I believe my cat could have at least been drained or given pain meds or both. I had the misfortune of being shuffled to Madison for something that was serious, the vet wasn't the regular therefore didn't feel " equipped" to do the procedure. Very long and hot drive, that didn't have to occur.RIP sweet Reggie.

Our new family member Roxi received the best care from an amazing staff! Dr. Jennifer has a calming effect on both her fur patients and their parents and the staff is obviously well educated and attentive to all our dogs needs.

I have two dogs who have been very well cared for at Janesville Veterinary Clinic. Max got into sugar free gum and we received fantastic care from the doctors and staff at the clinic. Thankfully, Max made it through, but it was pretty scary for a few days. It is ressuring to have knowledgable and compassionate staff as partners in caring for my dogs.
