The airport is great. But standing in the Delta line at 4:10 for a 5:30 flight and no one manning the ticket counter while all the other airlines are serving their customers is frustrating. At least 8 employees walked behind the counter and went in the office, but no explanation of when to expect the counter to open. Opening an hour before your first flight, especially on holiday travel days, is not the best. The line is at least 40 deep already.

Sort of like the other airports, ha, has all the same food places and stores as expected. Lines through TSA move at an average speed. The workers were friendly and nice to chat with.

Small but very efficient layout. Open 24 hours, although the TSA Security Checkpoint opens at 4:00 a.m. Free in-terminal WIFI, live entertainment and galleries featuring local artists can be found throughout the terminal. More than a dozen major airlines and regional carriers provide some 200 daily arrivals and departures.

Jacksonville is a very nice airport conveniently located near the city. You can be in downtown Jacksonville, Florida within 20 to 30 minutes by car, taxi or Uber. There are various retail shops, restaurants and bars for your convenience. Security is reasonably fast and efficient without too much hassle.

Decent little airport. A lot has changed since my last flight in 2006. I happen to be there ridiculously early, so not too many shops were open. Very clean as well, even the restrooms were well kept.

I have been coming to this airport for years and it's always clean, and someone is always available to help you out if you need any help.

Smaller airport that still has some good food and shops (and a Benefit makeup vending machine!!). Staff is always friendly, even through security, and I've flown out of here dozens of times with no problems.

I am flying out today, and I am at the airport very early. This airport is not very clean. The cleanest areas are in the food court, but those tables are not even that clean. The chairs by the gates are very dirty. The chairs in the restaurants are not clean. The food is extremely overpriced. You get a very small selection of restaurants in this airport.

I love this little airport! Really quick turn around on luggage. Minus one star for taking out Cinnabon :(

Extremely rude, bordering harassment from the parking 'security attendant'. People need to learn the golden rule, treat people how you want to be treated. I had family from visiting out of the country and my brother and I were dropping them off at 620am and there was no traffic. I get that the drop off arE meant to be quick. We unloaded and since my visiting family had a sleeping baby, I helped check them in the kiosk (which was less than 1 minute) and went straight to my brother (because he had, come to find out, been told by the female attendant to leave). I'm in the car, immediately ready to leave And the woman comes to my passenger window and I opened to hear what she had to say. She starts screaming with a hostile attitude ' YOU INTENTIONALLY LIE. GET OUT OF THE AIRPORT!' I was shocked and flabergased: where was this hostility coming from? Her tone was rude and acerbic, and her words were unnecessary and disrespectful . She didn't need to follow me or stop us unnecessarily when we were literally leaving. And my brother is chill guy so he would not have said anything to agitate that woman who conducted herself unbecoming of a decent human being and unquilifed to fit the position requiring human interaction or customer service. For example, What if someone needed to use the bathroom in an emergency while dropping someone off? Or needed help last minute? If you are going to be there for 3 or more minutes,be ready to be screamed at and insulted.

The caustic woman might be an outlier but the fact that someone like her represents the facility is a shame.

" I remember having to leave to country for an extended amount of time due to academic pursuits. My parents came with me to the airport and we did not want to say goodbye to each other just yet . Thankful for the hospitality of the staff and security of the people at JAX, they granted my family to sit with me outside of boarding until it was time for me to go. It's the little things that make people remember! Thank you for generating $2 billion a year to stimulate the economy of Jacksonville." - Ansel Ponce Diama

Often has live music, at least one good restaurant. Easy car rental. This is a small regional airport well located and easy to use.

My flight had to land in Jacksonville due to bad weather at the destination airport today. I had to spend 6 hours in this airport I didn't find it so fancy. Looks like a old airport but neat and clean and looks huge. Or maybe the southwest Airlines counter and nearby area is like that.. Not sure. And for first time I saw military jets take off from so close. It was just amazing and even the sound was mind blowing 😊

Seems well oiled to me. Less crowded than typical airports. Bathroom very accessible and not too packed where there was a line.
