Great restaurant. Very busy and crowded but the food.is good and the service was great.

JW's is a must stop for me when I'm in Grand Haven. There White Chilli is delish and makes you want to order another bowl. Tonight's fare was different for us, she usually orders the perch and I the small steak, tonight she had steak and I had perch. She devoured the steak as if it might be the last steak on earth. The perch where of good size, lightly battered and deep fried not greasy at all, just a few drops of lemon juice and I was devouring my dinner. We skipped dessert. The bar was lively, friendly and much fun. Celebrating the holidays is always fun and doing it at JW's makes it that much better.

Good food, small time friendly neighborhood atmosphere. One of our favorite places in Grand Haven. Don't be surprised if the owner sits in the next table with her wine and food.

Great place for lunch. The white chicken chili is amazing. Update, the service was terrible. Ended up with an empty glass of water and ended up having to pay cash just to get out the door

Went here randomly while on vacation. It happened to be our anniversary. Service was great. Honestly. Steaks were really good. The Brussels sprouts were not good but they acknowledged it and comped them. The bar has a fun, friendly atmosphere with tourists and locals. Good place.

Eh..fair at best. We were staying at a bed and breakfast within walking distance and figured we'd try this place. My wife had the petite sirloin which she said was just okay. I had the light breaded perch. It was just okay too. Service was fair at best. Our waitress was just going through the motions. She just wasn't that nice. Overall I'd say try elsewhere.

I think this place is a bit over hyped and priced. But I guess the white people in GH love it coz this place was packed with them on a wednesday nite. Although I will say my patty melt was good; but the fried perch seemed not seasoned well.

Love JW's! Always great food and service, typically. My most recent visits only my food has been great and not much of there service. I find it disrespectful for a worker to be more concerned about a relationship within the building then the customers needs. Other then that, always great food!

JW's has fantastic food and is always a good reliable place for a meal. Never been disappointed by a meal there or anything on the menu. The soups are amazing! Very cozy little attached bar also with great service.

Was just there for dinner tonight with my girlfriend. Salad was good and white chicken chili was excellent. Surf and turf was OK. I asked for the steak medium rare and it came out charred and chewy. The perch were rather large with good light batter. The smothered chicken was very dry, overcooked and not a lot of flavor.
