Excellent service, helped us out even though we couldn't use their services.

    HORRIBLE!
Their receptionist's badge said she had been working there for 1 year but she couldn't even answer my questions or she was terribly rude.
They even filed with my insurance company, stating I had purchased glasses from them, which I had not. So when I went to buy glasses from LensCrafters my insurance was messed up. I waisted 3 of my lunch breaks dealing with them, needless to say I will never go back.

Denise the manager was very unprofessional and should be replaced. Argumentative and a little arrogant. Would not honor sale rate of 2 glasses for $99. She could've handled the customer much better. This happened in front of 5 people & 2 employees.

I have to give them one star because yelp requires it. But, stay away. The new employees that that they have are untrained and clueless about what they are doing. We had taken my husbands prescription there not long ago and got glasses, now they do not accept our insurance plan, so for replacements we had to go elsewhere. We went to Pennys optical to get a copy of his script, and Denise behind the counter said it was against the law and she could not do that. (She did offer to fill it again there, imagine that). According to FL law, you are entitled to a copy of any of your medical records under HIPPA law. Basically she is holding his records hostage until she sells him glasses. She was extremely rude and sarcastic. We had to go to the Lenscrafters and call the eye doctor and get them to fax the script over. Pennys would not even send a copy of the script to Lenscrafters. Also, Pennys should require a dress code for their employees, it's only March and dressing like a vampire is inappropriate until October
