  I am a consumer of the meats sold here and the quality is excellent along with the customer service. I'm staying with J&L Green, the best.

  We visited the farm last year and loved their set up. The chickens were "really" roaming around in enormous grass pastures and their pigs were indeed "forested." We hiked up and over the hill to find the pigs and piglets running around acres of forested woodlands. It was a delightful trip and well worth checking out. It's even nicer that the Green's deliver to Arlington for an easy monthly pickup.

  Love their high quality meat and great selection. I have a hard time finding some cuts at other farms but J&L Green always has it! I love stocking up on their marrow bones to make bone broth. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Don't trust your grocery meatskeep your family healthy by getting it through a reputable farm like J&L Green.

  Highly recommend J&L Green Farm for ethically raised and absolutely delicious chickens, beef, pork, turkey and eggs. The roasting hens are big, juicy and flavorful. Eggs have beautiful golden yolks, great scrambled, fried or in omelets. My favorite is the grass-fed beef. We mostly buy ground beef and stew beef, and the kabobs are also terrific. The prices are quite reasonable and they often have numerous products on sale. But the main thing is, I know the animals are humanely treated and never given artificial anything, so I feel great about feeding these products to my family. Very good customer service, friendly and responsive. I order online and pick up at a convenient location near my house. They also have a Facebook page to share recipes, which is fun and quite helpful.

  We have been buying meat as part of a buying club (drop site) for several years now and just love J&L. We've been out to the farm to "meet our meat" (as I like to call it), and Jordan and Laura's passion for what they do and respect for the land and animals is so clear. As for the drop sites, it is is very smooth process: just come to the set location at the set time and meet the delivery vehicle. While the farm is great, I love that they come to us in Northern Virginia. As for the meat, we love it. I truly feel healthier eating the pastured meat that they provide. The pork, in particular, is just nothing like what the grocery store sells. The texture isn't awash with saline injection. It is leaner, but not in any way dry. I don't think I could ever go back to the old kind.
