A memorial to a has been football program, but a great stadium.
This is a nice stadium but I wish they had more seating on the visitors side. I only come here when we (SHHS) play DB and there is never enough seats on our side.
Great place to watch games. Concessions are much closer than at Science Hill.
Needs remolded. Instead of 3.5 million for 11w sidewalks..
Think model city
For a high school football stadium, it doesn't get much better than this. It's a pleasure to watch football, perform as a band member, finish races, and attend events at this beautiful stadium.
Really nice stadium. Tons of seating for a HS football game. We were here for Kingsport Funfest.
My son played some of his high school baseball games in this stadium. Good memories, most of them.
Always have had a wonderful time watching db football games here! They have everything under control and still allow us to have fun!
Great place for a football game, recently remodeled and expanded
loved it the pep rally is better than sevier's
The Kingsport City Schools have always thrown a lot of money into their sports programs. The stadium was almost unrecognizable when I visited a few days ago compared to the last time I was there about 12 years ago. They have a "jumbotron", sky box (why does a high school need a sky box??), and several new buildings inside and along the periphery of the stadium. I just wonder if they make the same improvements and investments to their aging education buildings as they annex more and more of the Sullivan North and South school zones in an attempt to raise city tax revenues and decrease those student populations. Hopefully a Sullivan Metro School System will be created in the next few years to remedy this issue but until then the Model City will keep investing in athletics in an attempt to compete with larger cities like Knoxville at the expense of the growing student population.
Very nice stadium & my Alma Madder is Dobyns Bennett High School!
