One of the best hot dog shops in the US. The hotdogs are custom made for the shop and are grilled right before your eyes. The dogs are all beef. You can choose either a regular or a polish dog and both are very good. The inside is not very big but you can still find seating. Their combo (hotdog + 20z drink) is very cheap. They have a special sauce which tastes like a mix of hot sauce and BBQ sauce. It very good and most customers ask for it, but the dogs themselves are amazing with just mustard, onions, and pickles.
Somehow this business has made a business out of selling hot dogs. Sincerely completing the impossible. This the best hot dog I have ever had. Their special sauce is to die for and, if they like you, they will give you two pickle slices. Great cheep food in a great central location.
I hate hot dogs and I absolutely love these!!! Would definitely recommend everyone try at least once!!!! This location is kind of small and in convenient, not much parking, so that's the only downfall. Affordable and so delicious! Their sauce is sooooo good!!!!
i actually tried this place based on the reviews. the dogs aren't blow your mind amazing, but its a pretty good dog. the prices aren't bad, and it's a pretty cool atmosphere. if you do go, they have a pretty damn good apple beer on the fountain, so definitely try that out. this is one of those college town places you've got to try at least once if you live in the area.
I've eaten so many J Dawgs hot dogs since I came to Utah years ago and I'm still not sick of them. There may have been a short time where they happened to cater every event I was at and I ended up with a full bin of these so I had to pump the brakes for a short span, but come on I feel like anyone would want something else after eating 10+ of these in the space of a few days.
They aren't the cheapest hot dogs in the world, but they also taste a lot better than your average pack of 99 cent dogs from the store. You can add whatever condiments they have available, which includes their ever-popular J Dawgs Sauce, ketchup, mayo, mustard, sauerkraut, celery salt, banana peppers, pickle spear, etc.
None of their locations I've been to are very big, but I don't think it's a very big deal because you're not here to reserve seats for your birthday dinner. Get your dogs, mash them into your face, and go!
Best Dawgs anywhere! Loaded with sauerkraut, onions, pickles, their secret sauce and celery salt. Gotta have one every time we're in town.
I go once a week. Always get the same thing. I love how small and simple the menu is. It doesn't need to be complicated. And they have apple beer, not many places offer it.
If you want a solid and delicious hot dig, you have come to the right place. Simple menu, just look at it and tell them what you want. They have Squirt on the tap. Try their secret sauce, tastes like BBQ sauce.
A little pricey for a hot dog, but still worth going to if you've never been. The special sauce is delicious, and I like to eat it with the sauerkraut. Fun for a quick meal, even if I do generally leave hungry.
Nostalgia to the max. This place was where my wife and I went on our first date, and I have loved it ever since. We will always have a bottle of J Dawgs sauce in our pantry! When I proposed to my wife, I took her on a scavenger hunt around some special places for our relationship and without even asking, the guys who were working gave her a voucher for 2 free meals when she came by. I will love you forever, J Dawgs!
Still a loyal and regular customer after 10+ years. The dog, the sauce, the toppings, the price--all fantastic. J Dawgs is in a league of its own when it comes to hot dogs. It never disappoints.
I love hot dogs Their sauce is pretty great and you can buy it by itself if you'd like
Don't like hot dogs? Well you will love J Dawgs. Been eating here for nearly 10 years. Still the best hotdog I've ever had.
That sauce though.
You can actually just buy a bottle of the sauce, which means you can make these hotdogs for a fraction of the price. So good
Love the hot dogs. They're getting popular enough that they need a bigger location! We could have (and probably should have) gone to the one in Orem since this one didn't have much free seating. But the staff are great, and quick.
