Really great sushi. Reasonable prices. We waited a long time between soup, salad and meal. But the fantastic sushi made up for the wait!

I enjoy the handrolls there. Most sushi places are not cheap and this is no exception. They also offer brown rice which costs extra. They offer a good lunch combination box special for $10.95 ( soup, green salad, rice, a roll of some sort, another appetizer, and your choice of three types of teriyaki. Also beef negimaki, but don't get that. It is very dry and hard to swallow. Lots of choices under Special roll. All Japanese staff and usually more than one sushi chef. Very courteous and have yet to have a problem. They do have a sushi bar if you would like to dine alone. The actual size of the cuts of sushi can sometimes vary depending on who is behind the sushi bar. Please leave a tip (even $1) in the big glass jar on the sushi bar for the boys as THEY ARE the ones that prepare the majority of your meal!! Better than the Asian Japanese place across the way.

Izu Sushi is the best!! I find myself here once a week, as the prices are fair and the sushi, sashimi, apps, and Thai food are top notch! The customer service is wonderful and the owner is very accommodating and professional! You won't be disappointed!

Visiting from out of state and decided to give this place a try. I can say we were not disappointed! Some of the freshest sushi we've ever eaten. Everything was excellent from the appetizer to dessert. We ordered the rock shrimp tempura, 2 special rolls, lo mien, and ice cream tempura (with green tea mochi). There were tons of authentic Japanese cuisine to choose from, not just exclusively sushi. Be sure to order the moshi for dessert. Simply divine! It's located in a small strip mall, but don't let appearances fool you. You'll walk away satisfied. Why are you still reading this!? Just go!
