Went on this tour with my husband and two adult kids ages 19 and 26. We had Captain Thad. It was SO much fun. Really nice boat ride one hour each way, then one hour at the island.

If you have older kids you can walk out really far- the sand bar is huge- felt like we were walking in water. Sand dollars everywhere and we saw several starfish as well. It was worth the money in my opinion. We also saw some dolphins. Good family day!

This was the best! I’d give it more stars if I could. Our family really enjoyed it! Captain Kathy is not only a wealth of knowledge, but super nice and made us feel really welcome. I’d do this again in a heartbeat!

We did a private tour for 4 at 7 pm. The views were amazing. We saw a bunch of dolphins, including one that appeared to be hunting or mating - standing up and diving back in to the water. Captain Jim was very informative, loved hearing about the oysters. His partner was super nice and knowledgeable about the real estate in the area. Definitely bring a jacket! The wind gets chilly. Only problem we had was with the oyster restaurant. A rude guest tried to prevent us from getting to the dock and the manager had to be called and finally let us cross over the back deck to the dock. Island explorer talked to the restaurant and it was the restaurant's fault for not letting them know a private event was blocking the back deck. The waiters and customers were excessively rude about letting 4 people cross for 30 seconds. We walked over the uneven steep oyster hill to avoid them on the way back. So avoid the restaurant but do the tour, you won't regret it!

It was so fun. I imagined there being lots of families, but we were actually the only family. It was relaxing because there was so much space and you move around. The boat went fast and slow. Are captain, Thad, was really great because he got a jelly fish that we got to hold. But best of all we saw about 15 dolphins. Once a dolphin even jumped out of the water. It was a 2 hour tour starting at nine. We had a great time because we saw so many dolphins and it was relaxing. We also had fun watching the dolphins pop out of the water.

We visited Hilton Head Island for the first time with our parents and 3 toddler children this past week! One of the top things on our list besides the beach was seeing dolphins! My 2.5 year old twins love dolphins and we wanted to make this trip special for them! This company did not disappoint! Our Captain was Thad and he was very courteous and professional while still having a lot of fun information! We seen so many dolphins and a little family pod with three babies! It was so amazing I feel like that was a moment my daughters will never forget! They are still talking about the dolphins 5 days later! I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone wanting to see these beautiful creatures in their natural habitat!

This was our family vacation which included 3 grandchildren from age 2 to 4. We did the 3 hour tour to Vanishing Island. All I can say is that we would do it over and over again. Well worth it. We had Captain Mitch who was amazing, funny, knowledgeable and the kids loved him. We pickup up so many shells and sand dollars on the island, saw dolphins. It was the highlight of our trip. So DO IT, you won't regret it.

We had a great morning with Captain Mitch, who shared his significant knowledge of the ecology of the bay, the animals and birds, some history and hurricane stories - and he was very easy going and engaging as well. We saw quite a few dolphins, including a mother and young one, diving in and out of the water together. There were 8 people on our tour, the boat had comfortable cushions on the bench seats - we have nothing but rave reviews for this trip out on the water.

We had a great 2 hour tour, where we saw tons of wildlife including several dolphins that swam right up to the boat! Captain Mitch did a great job. He told us all about the wildlife and the local history, all while ensuring we had a fun, safe time! I highly recommend this tour!

Our family had an amazing day on the water with Capt. Zach! He made all aboard feel welcome. Zach seemed extremely knowledgeable about the water and the history of the area..we visited a spot where migratory dolphins were abundant! Lots of great dolphin activityso much fun and great memories. Thanks Capt. Zach, for a great island experience!

Excellent 3 hour disappearing island tour with Captain Zach. We had a blast. Saw several dolphins on the way there and back. Picked up so many sand dollars and shells we can open a gift shop. I highly recommend the tour. It was one of the highlights of our trip and we will do it again one day.

The trip was outstanding. We had plenty of time to see both dolphins and sea birds. Captain Mitch was very attentive to our requests and the company was very helpful and considerate in getting the tour set up.
We live on HHI year around and I would not hesitate to take my younger Grandchildren This is an outstanding tour company for people with small children since you get close and up close to the dolphins.

Wonderful day! We saw a ton of dolphins and it couldn't be a more beautiful day. Captain Zach was very knowledgeable about the area and the kids really liked him. The spot behind the Old Oyster Factory is tucked away and very serene and picturesque. We had a great time! Highly recommend.

Our family had a great evening! We took a smaller, private boat out with Captain Jim and our family of five (2 adults and 3 kids). We saw several dolphins up close, learned about different species of wildlife, got a different perspective of the island, watched the sunset, and capped it off with the fireworks. Captain Jim was awesome and was really knowledgeable about the ecosystem and island, answering several questions our family had. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thanks Captain Jim.

Capt. Chris gave a dolphin sunset cruise to remember. From the moment we boarded the vessel, he was very knowledgeable and helped make the ride enjoyable. He pointed out key elements of the ecosystem, neat landmarks, and best of all several dolphin. The ride lasted 2 hrs, and was filled with enjoyment every minute. Would recommend this outfit to anyone looking for a dolphin or sunset cruise around Hilton Head.

Kathy was fantastic! It was a great tour with lots of information about the marsh, dolphins and the oyster beds. The boat was very clean! Kathy was very knowledgable and friendly. We appreciated the attention she showed toward the elderly parents in our group. We saw lots of dolphins and a manatee! Definitely recommend this tour! One note: bring your own bottle of water/drink. They don't provide those, but they have a cooler that you can use to fill up your water bottle.

Went with my wife and two younger daughters. Almost immediately after telling the kids not to be too upset if we did not see any Dolphins we saw three. We spent the next 5 to 10 minutes shadowing the dolphins and the kiddos loved it. It was nice being on a small boat and feeling like you could ask questions. Captain Kathy was great.

Captain Rich did a great job of setting my wife's mind at ease-- she gets nervous easily. Of course, the whole experience was completely safe. He was very knowledgeable of the many types of wildlife we encountered and all of the historical aspects of the areas we explored. We saw several dolphins during our two-hour tour, and the whole experience was very relaxing. Would definitely recommend highly to all!
