Absolutely love going and playing ironwood. Was recently redone and reopened.
staff moved quickly to help with any issues and we had 80 golfers scurrying about.
For the golf now hot deal price it is definitely worth it. It is a fun fairly open course. The greens are on the slower side but are very very consistrny
Pretty decent course. Can be unforgiving bat times.. definitely recommend it to anybody looking to play in Gainesville
Awful experience. Rough was 4 inches deep. Took us 5 minutes a shot to find our ball if we were lucky. Jeff Cardoza personally apologized for the condition and it would be fixed in a week. Thanks Jeff
Good value, well run place. Kind of crazy Gainesville, FL has only one decent public golf course, but at least it has one.
Great beer, hotdogs & bar staff.
Local track, nothing special. Busy as it is the best non private course in town. Has drainage problems so expect to walk or cart path only after heavy rain
Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. A+ Service and nice course 🏌⛳
Fairly well kept golf course. Couldn't beat the price. The fairways are being redone this summer which would raise this to 5 stars once done.
Good things: they had rental clubs, friendly people, decent course.
Bad things: waited 20 minutes for a cart, because of the cart debacle we started behind a 5-some and an 8-some, starter gave us grief for being late even though waiting for the carts is what caused us to be late, slow play, overcharged for a golf glove by $3 from advertised price, weediest greens I've ever seen, beverage cart was so limited we had a choice of vodka diet doctor pepper or vodka green Gatorade.
