Wow truly a pleasant and affordable stay! Stayed here unexpectedly for business and loved it! First of all LeAnne the Front desk Receptionist Greeted me and offered complimentary coffee and pastries while she checked me in. The lobby was simple yet clean. She handed me my room keys. And yes they're keys pretty retro but don't judge the room by the key cuz i walked in to beautiful apartment style and cool historic fact, Jimmy Hoffa built this beautiful villa summer retreat for the Teamsters union. The room was clean and had a beautiful view of the pool with fountain! The room i got had an electric stove and full kitchen including a full fridge. You'll notice the chill and tranquil atmosphere, itll make you wanna pick up a book after taking a dip in the pool or spa

At first glance it didn't look so bad. Then we saw the broken toilets, leaking refrigerator, oven hot room, broken blinds, and terrible service. Will never stay here again. If you do, you will instantly regret it.

this place is terrible.i booked my room a month and a half in advance and was expecting a fully furnished suite. i got the room in the first place and was expecting to have a fully functional stove and ovennope.stove was nonoperationalthe manager there was very unhelpful. she said she would have the stove fixed by a professional the next day in the morning and that never happened. we had to cook at another tenants room!!!!
the manager/front desk lady name is leanne.
when i asked her for a refund she told me she could not do anything. but when i booked i was promised a room with direct access from room to pool. nope. we got a jacuzzi that wasn't heated. non functional stove and oven and the worst hotel customer service i have ever encountered in my life. do not every book here. you will instantly regret it!
usually when something like this happens the management would comp the rooms.

Got a 2 Queen bed suite! Was perfect for 4 guest. Could not get over how nice the room was decorated. Loved will be back for sure

Rooms were large, clean, comfortable, and inexpensive! 24 hour pool was cool. a lot of nice places to eat around the area. nice and quite accomadations.

I really can't even rate this place! After making prior arrangements with the "new" manager to check in early, we arrived to be told we couldn't have the requested room, already paid for. We were told we could wait by the pool until another room was cleaned. It was hot, the pool and area around it were dirty! After waiting 1hr and 15 min. Which was approx. 15 min before actual check in time, no one had even started cleaning our room. We left and I sent a message asking the manager to give us credit for the room on our card. She replied 4 days later and offered a voucher toward another stay, no refund! We will never stay there again.

I had a really nice time. The rooms are huge felt like a studio apartment. The staff was really helpful and kind thank you guys can't wait to stay again. I highly recommend this place if you are in Palm desert.

Highly recommend this resort for family or couple. Awesome all around! We had the pool to ourselves for a couple of the days we were there. Staff very friendly, wide range of food options available and our room was very clean with a large patio and nice view.

This place was perfect for my family, my wife used the full kitchen and we had the pool right outside our patio, so my older daughter was swiming in it all the time. The building is not super new, but the rooms itself are very nice, and all the staff where super friendly, so we spend 3 nights there and are looking to do it again when our parents come to visit.
It feels like you have rented out an apartment with a pool and can relax in a nice little town with cool places to go and eat!response / report this review
