Today I was in the Augusta office, I didn't have an appointment. But the lady at the front desk was so kind to help me. The best experience with IRS so far.
    A+.

I find it unbelievable that I cannot talk to a real person for one question!! I only gave them one star because it would not allow me to post this otherwise.

The Only Reason I Gave a 1 star is because I had to in order to write a review. I'm my book you get nothing . It's ok to check on things via IVR but there should be an option to speak to a representative. It's always the call volume is high.. how????? No one answers the phone and as soon as it tells you your refund stat it gives you one option and that is to repeat if not it hangs up. WTF are we paying for . Y'all want y'all money on time so help us help you . Lazy Lazy Lazy.. I have push every options there was to try to speak with someone and guess what still hangs up. Y'all suck don't gaf about us as individuals. Let me ask you something when did you workers get your money back. I bet it was on time probably was one of the first groups that received theirs. The IRS has been a bunch of bs for years . Get some new employees and new hotline and maybe y'all want have so many problems with taxpayer. ijs.. You can't tell someone to check it out online when it give you no information at all which prompts people to call in. I prefer to check online because the people are so rude and I'm not the one to bite my tongue so they definitely wouldn't have a good day after speaking to me. With that being said Make proper changes to the site or get a hotline that actually works with people who care about losing their job !

I waited for four hours. But the agent who was by himself for most of that time smiled, was polite and never lost composure as the office quickly was packed with people. Two other agents showed up as it neared lunch but the majority of requests appeared to be students needing transcripts. I was evidentially called and Robert took his time found the problem and hopefully straightened it out. He was professional, courteous and knew his stuff. If it wasn't for the wait time I would give it higher marks.
