Nice staff. Had our Christmas party here and the food was great. Great meeting rooms. Not just super fancy, lots of parking. I recommend it

Friendly and helpful staff. The views of the lake are great. I would stay here again. The game room was a little dated. Overall it was a good place for a quick weekend getaway.

First let me say the employees at this hotel were great. They couldn't of been any nicer. With that said, this is probably the nastiest hotel I have ever stayed at. The room smelled like cat urine. The first night we arrived the door was open and we were told it was being "aired out". There were only 3 pillows on the bed (we were told that's all they had left), the sheets literally had stains on them (when we complained of that we were told that they didn't have any more clean. The hot water is hit and miss so if you value hot showers this is not the place. The lounge which is off of the lobby is filled with smoke (they allow indoor smoking in both the lounge and the rooms). Not one day I was there was the shower cleaned or the floor vacuumed. i could go on and on about this place but I can sum it up with its very dated, run down, and disgusting. Oh, we also found ants in our bed the 2nd night.

Thus is one of the best well kept hotels I've ever been to. I'm here just about every other and have come to enjoy and love this hotel. One of my favorite things about this place is how much there actually is to do here. There's a hot tub , an exercise room, and even an game room. On top of that the staff customer service is exceptional. Chris the doorman is my favorite

After reading the reviews of other people that stayed at the Grand Glaize Inn. I was pretty scared to stay there to say the least. Once I got there and was able to check into my room early, I have to say the room was very nice and cleaned. The bathroom was nice and clean. My over all impression was that this was a great hotel to stay in. I slept like a baby. The meeting rooms were nice and so was the food.

This place seems to just have switched ownership, they are working to cleanup and update many areas. Employees were very nice and helpful, I can't wait to go back next year and see what they've done with the place.

The staff were all really nice and accommodating. We had a room with no lake view, which felt like a basement bedroom. Although the facilities are dated, our room was clean. Would stay there again, it's decent for the price and we're never in our room for long when we're at the lake anyway. We did have a plumbing issue with a toilet that didn't want to flush on the first try; hopefully they'll get that fixed.

The guys at the marina below were very helpful. If you're taking your boat to the lake, do NOT try their launch ramp. The desk clerk told us "it's a little steep"more like a 75 degree angle that would have pulled our truck into the lake! The state park is the place to launch your boat.

BUGS! We discovered ants all over the table/desk and floor which then had gotten onto our things. We had to change rooms after 11 p.m AND then we had someone trying to get into our new room because the front desk clerk didn't change it in the computer that she had switched us & the next clerk gave someone else keys to our room. Traveling with kids is hard enough but when someone is trying to get into your room after midnight & it wakes everyone up freaking out & scared! Completely unprofessional! When we confronted the manager the next morning, we were told there was nothing she could do except offer us a free breakfast! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL! Bugs, strangers access to your room, no continental breakfast, & unprofessional staff!

This is a fairly old facility in a great location. The check-in was delayed to after 5 pm because room wasn't ready. There was no bathmat in room and there was stains on the sheets. The bed was rock-hard and the towels were like sand paper. It's not a bad place but needs a few things looked at on room cleaning, laundry, and check-in.

Hands down the best hotel we have stayed at. We did long distance passenger transport previously so we have stayed at many many hotels across the land. Who knew the best one would be an hour from home? We did the Valentine's day package which included the dinner and room and a few other niceties. The dinner and restaurant staff was super friendly. The front desk staff both morning and night are super helpful. The strawberries that were included my wife loved and said was the best (and I work at edible arrangements lol). Was so nice we stayed an extra night! Will Definetly come in again during the summer

I think this hotel was really nice 30 years ago. It badly needs to be updated. The threadbare towels and pillowcases were discolored, and the shower made a loud, terrible noise when it turned on. It wasn't horribly dirty, but everything was well-used and kind of grimy. There weren't very many outlets in the room, so I had to unplug the lamp to plug in the coffee maker.
I also woke up with bug bites on my arm. I didn't see any overt signs of bedbugs, but the bites I got are definitely from bedbugs. Beware!

The location is nice and close enough to Tan-Tar-a where our conference was, this year they also provided a shuttle that was nice! Cons: no continental breakfast, no mini fridge or microwave in our room, and somehow there was a little bug on my comforter the first night (it was small, not a bed bug, but still kinda gross) so that's why I give this hotel 3 stars out of 5. Good enough but it could have been better!

I have been coming to this particular hotel since 2013. This year, I highly recommend that others choose this hotel (2016)! The Staff, in particular, Chris and the housekeepers, are sensational! The rooms are newly furnished, clean, and the water temperature is appropriately cold/hot throughout the day/night. Room 444 (I stayed in) has a great Lake View.
