A REALLY GOOD 4 STARS! We liked our stay here. The place was cozy and cute, and the price was very fair. It isn't a 5 star place of course! But it was really nice for a 4 person crew of two adults and two children. Nice people running the place and the bar onsite is super charming and small town (everyone is friendly and fun - you'll feel right at home!)
Nice hotel in downtown Santa Fe. Great location with high walkability. Rooms are super clean and nicely decorated. The staff is very helpful and accommodating and made us feel at home. Definitely recommend staying there!
Clean. Nice size rooms
Good location. Great value.
Loved our room, service was great. Piano bar was fun and breakfast was good. Will be back!
We really wanted to like the Inn at Vanessie but unfortunately that wasn't the case. The room was cold when we arrived. It took a few days of complaining about the on/off heating problem before it was identified that it needed a new unit. The manager, (Enrique) said, "I've got good news and bad news: the bad news is that we need to replace the unit. The good news is that I'm going to get you so drunk tonight you won't even know it's cold." Really?? How unprofessional. All the other rooms were booked and being the Christmas holiday, we were hard-pressed to find availability at any other hotel. Enrique put a couple of space heaters in the room but the fuses constantly tripped. Twice an electrician had to be called to fix the problem. On Christmas eve we were getting ready to go out for dinner. My wife turned the blow dryer on and the fuses blew again. Enrique sent someone from the front desk to reset the breakers but that was unsuccessful. I asked him where could she blow dry her hair and he had us go into another guest's room! (they weren't present). I sat down with Enrique and explained that we had spent far too much time and stress dealing with these issues. He agreed to reimburse us three days (we stayed for 6 nights). I asked who the owner was and Enrique refused to give a name. After we got home, Enrique only reimbursed two of the three days he promised. I tracked the owner's name down on my own and sent him an email. He called me and seemed sincere about reimbursing us for the third day Enrique had promised. He said Enrique had failed to tell him what had happened and that he'd look into this and call back. An hour later he called back and said he spoke to Enrique who essentially refuted everything we said. Furthermore, to deflect from how he handled the situation, Enrique made up these wild accusations that bordered on slander.
I understand sometimes things happen and we appreciate the Inn at Vanessie's effort by bringing space heaters in, but fuses in a small area aren't meant to handle space heaters, a hair dryer and/or iron. Enrique was slow to respond (he said his phone broke) when the fuses had blown and in keeping us updated on whether the heater was actually going to be replaced (it wasn't). I also told him the hot tub did not work in which he replied he'd look into it (never did). Had he acted like a professional along with keeping his word on reimbursing us for the 3 days he promised, we would probably return. We loved Santa Fe and we'll definitely come back but we'll never stay here again.
Friendly staff and lovely rooms. Each room is unique. We stayed in the Galileo which has a private porch and small courtyard. Bed was comfortable but you could feel a hmp in the middle. We did visit the piano bar as well and food, drink, and entertainment was superb.
Great room, Santa Fe decor, very helpful and friendly staff, great continental breakfast, reserved parking space. Lots of charm.
RJ is their receptionist. He is accommodating. Very pleasant young gentleman. The place is cozy and relaxing. Clean and spacious. The only thing that I was looking for is a 2 queen size beds which they don't have.
But no big deal, it is only for a few days. I love it. Fresh air and peaceful.
Amazing vibe and customer service! The Kobe beef sliders were divine!
The rooms here are all individually decorated, beds are very comfortable. Staff are beyond friendly, helpful and accommodating. Great location. Very dog friendly!!
An amazing stay for our first time in Santa Fe! Unique rooms, ours had a giant shower, bathroom heater, fireplace, and wine glasses prepped to start vacation! Bed was comfortable. There is a restaurant with live music every night. The best part is that it is less than a ten minute walk to several other destinations such as the plaza!
We spent two nights here. Dinner was excellent and breakfast was very good as well. Convenient for walking into the center of town. The only problem was regulating the temperature. I like the room cool at night.. I ended up being over hot
