Well worth the trip there. The trek down to the underground river was great and the ride on the boat 11 stories underground was amazing. The staff were all super helpful as well.

I enjoyed this cave tour. We went because of the boat, but my favorite part was seeing the bones and learning about how the cave was found.
The employees were extremely kind and informative. My 3 year old did not want to go in so my mom went back with her. Not only did they refund my mom's ticket, they gave my daughter some bubbles and a bag for sluicing. None of it was necessary, but we did appreciate it.
The rest of our kids enjoyed the experience and I felt like we learned a lot.
It was worth the drive and really, I enjoyed it more than the massive Mammoth Cave tour that we went on.

Very friendly, informative. History of cave and ice age skeletons of the animals found in the cave.
    Nice visitors center.
Each cave is different in the area and have certain features that set them apart. Not as many developed or large formations in this cave.

Fun tour of the cave, took about 1.5 hours with a boat ride. Kid friendly and the tour guide was great and enthusiastic. You can buy bags of gems or fossils and "mine" them outside. There is a self guided tour outside that walks you over the surface area of the cave tour.

Gorgeous grounds with plenty of room to run! Neat interpretive trail over the Cave outside. If you've got kids the Sabertooth exhibit outside is a blast. The cave itself is a pretty easy walk with some stairs and handrails throughout. Incredibly friendly staff! Definitely recommend.

Such an awesome tour! Very unique in that part of it includes a boat ride 110 feet underground. Would definitely recommend! Our tour guide, Morgan, was wonderful too!

Fantastic first cavern experience for our daughter! We got our tickets online, very easy purchase. We arrived 20 minutes before the tour so we grabbed a bag of fossils and gemstones and headed outside to sift through it. Then Tray took us on a great journey through the caverns. Great way to spend the afternoon.

After visiting Indiana Caverns today I am so thrilled that we decided to check it out. Our tour guide Mark was wonderful and very knowledgeable. The walking part, exploring the cave was very nice. The boat tour was a interesting and new way to see the cave. My kiddos really enjoyed seeing the animal bones that have been discovered over the years. Thank you for such a beautiful experience!

The cavern is beautiful, the tour was fun, our guide was wonderful, the only thing I would leave out is the movie at the beginning. I'm fine with the discovery of the cave, the history of how caves are made, but then religious beliefs were introduced into it. I have no problem a with what people believe in, I have no problem with trying to spread the good word, but I went to learn about a cavern, not go to Sunday school. That is how I felt in the beginning. After that nothing else was mentioned about it so for us it balanced out, but I can see how this may offend people of other faiths and cultures because it's a touchy subject for some.
If you can get past that, then this is an excellent choice for tours, it is an extremely unique cavern with fossils still there for exhibit, and our guide was wonderful and well informed.
He also added that you could visit multiple times and get different guides and have a completely different tour due to the abundance of information they can share with you!! To me that is something worth going again for.

This is a great tour. I have been in many cave tours, but this was the first one for my wife. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The tour guide, Morgan, was fantastic, she knew what she was doing and made the tour so much fun. Very beautiful sights there and the boat ride was fantastic also. They have a very nice gift shop there and affordable prices. It is not hard to walk at all, with breaks to catch your breath would recommend this to anyone. Will be back in the future.

Super friendly & knowledgeable guides & gift shop staff! Unlike some other commercial cave experiences in the region, they have full bathrooms & amenities on site (not that this should deter you from touring other caves, but wanted to point out for planning purposes if you have small kids). Definitely a place we will visit again!
