Great option for a good tasty lunch. Tons of vegetarian options, nothing vegan. People are very nice and there's different options every day.

A decent place for a buffet meal. The spread isn't as wide but you'll get good food.
I'd recommend it every once in a while. The cost is decent but considering the spread, I'd say it's on the higher side.

The service was horrible, they made me feel unwelcome and as if they didn't want me there. He brought me to a table for the buffet at 11 o clock and didn't even tell me tbat it was open before leaving. I had to ask.
Later during my meal, I looked up to see the Indian lady staring at me with a contemptutous look, she didn't even have the decency or the shame to look away out of respect, she stared at me for a few more seconds before finally looking away.
The spinach looked like paste out of a can, it was thick and generic. The lentil (dal) dish was watery as was one other vegetable dish. The rest of the food was okay, but literally anyone can cook it with a recipe. Nothing special.
The man walked by a few times during my meal but never asked me if everything was ok.
He kept sneakily watching me as I stood up to leave and put on my jacket, as though I was going to walk out without paying. And when he had to give me 38 cents change he just gave me 35 without asking if that was ok.

After a few days in meetings at the conference center we packed the place for a little dinner meeting with some great food from the buffet. The hospitality far exceed my expectations and I hope some times to return for a meal when it isn't packed wall to wall.

Quantity is good but quality is normal. Buffet menu rarely changes and Nan is always undercooked. Price for buffet at 8.99$ is the only plus n ofcourse it's location neat to work at Downtown.

We went here on weekend and for the first time after seeing the ratings. Food was kind of stale . None of the curries were good. Place was having mosquitoes and fruit flies. Naan was fresh but i would highly not recommend this place as had much better indian food.

I'd love to enjoy the food here but having even a small amount of buffet food at lunch kills my appetite beyond dinner time. Buffet wise, foods are well stocked with few verities and good dessert.

I really enjoyed their Lunch Buffet. The Curry, Nan, and rice were very good. Great value for such a great price. A great place for a quick meal downtown that is all you can eat. Basic, not fancy, but fast and great value.

My student from India suggested we go here because this is the best Indian food in Pittsburgh. Maybe it is but I can't tell. The service was horrible. They acted as though they didn't want us there. Maybe because she brought me along. Definitely don't get the buffet, at least my student gave me that advice. When we did receive our food, it was good but then she asked for tea and the wait staff said it was too late for tea. What?? Just make the lady some tea? You have another 30 minutes before you close.
Decent food but I just can't endorse this place due to the unwelcoming feel of the service and environment.response / report this review
