  Hotel Washington is very well run. Jeannie the owner and staff pay attention to needs,are responsive and just fantastic people. Great breakfast to start the day. Extremely, restful & peaceful with beautiful sunsets at night. Doesn't get any better! I highly recommend checking it out.

  While I have never stayed at the hotel, I have had several delicious meals at the restaurant. The food is always excellent, they have a fantastic wine list, and they waitstaff are always super friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

  My husband and I had never been to Door County and we wanted to try something new. We had also never stayed in a bed and breakfast and thought, if anyone was going to do a B&B right, it would be Door County. After looking around online, I found Hotel Washington and fell in love with the pictures. It looked, to me, the way a B&B should look. When I found that the price per night was at least half the cost of the other resorts I was looking at, I picked up the phone and made our reservation right then. When we arrived, the place was even better than the photos. We loved every second of our stay. The beds were comfortable, breakfast was wonderful, the dinner menu is nothing short of pure excellence, the wait staff was knowledgeable in every aspect of the food and drink provided, and the owner and other staff made us feel right at home. The restrooms are shared; however, do not let this deter you. They are clean, well stocked, lovely, and we never had to wait to shower or use the facilities (and all the rooms were booked mind you). Staying at this perfect B&B connected us to guests in a fashion we have never experienced before. Our second night there, we used the outdoor fire pit and socialized with 6 other guests well into the evening. At breakfast we connected with a lady who shares my occupation and will be visiting my small business later this month to further network. We also made new friends that we spent one rainy evening playing Gin Rummy well into the wee hours of the morning, and at breakfast exchanged contact information and offers to visit one another. We will be back to Door County and the only place we will stay is Hotel Washington. They truly made our trip exceptional.

  Finishing up our last night here and we have loved it. The staff is fantastic, reliable, and easily available. The room (and entire building) is clean and beautifully decorated. The bed is very comfy. The breakfast was fantastic and we cannot wait for tomorrow's! We also had dinner here last night. The fettuccine was homemade and fantastic. We would definitely dine and stay here again!

  We spent three days on Washington Island and Rock Island, visiting the area beaches, parks, and restaurants. Our stay at the Hotel Washington was clean, quiet and easy. The rooms were comfortable, and the food was delicious! We will be back. Blessings!

  Beautiful and clean rooms in beautiful surroundings. The food is outstanding. Comfortable bed.

  The staff are absolutely fabulous. Remembered my name right away. Exceptionally helpful and courteous. The food is delicious. Beds are comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying here.
