Cool little diner. Food was excellent. Chile was good and if you are adventurous and like hot/spicy food for the level 2 green chile.

Authentic Mexican food. Not you normal tex-mex. The food was really good and staff is friendly.

Good New Mexico red and green chili served with just about any entree ordered. Everything from breakfast to some good hamburgers.

    Awesome old school food.
Not a place you go for (how can we make your meal better) kind of service.
More of a (What do you want and/or we'll get to you when we can) kind of operation.

And you're going to love it.

Biggest omelette you'll ever see - they call it a three egg but it seemed more like 6. Delicious green child and they offer super spicy options. Cozy place - good staff.

I was told this place had good food years ago but obviously it has gone down hill, the outside is nasty and just as dirty as the bathrooms the cooks eat and drink while they are cooking which is a major health issue and a no no service was ok but again very lackluster nothing saying you need to seat yourself and must go to the front to pay for your bill but no one tells you this everything is in plain sight and no one seems to care it is dirty and disorganized.. the food was not very good at all and the fries are more like raw mash potatoes than fries so for me this was a 1 or 0 star and not a place I would ever go again

Delicious food at a great price. The hamburger was big enough that I had half for lunch the next day.

I love this place. Huge portions, great price, plenty of spice and just all around delicious food. Bacon to die for. Do yourself a favor and eat here at least once. It's not for everyone (extra spicy chili) but I absolutely love the place. ❤

I got the carne adovada here and it was awesome and spicy!! I liked the giant sopapilla with honey it came with too. This place has a calm atmosphere and yummy, hot salsa! Big portions too.

Great food and portion size! Although the place wasn't very packed for dinner, it had a great sense of novelty and I really enjoyed the food. I would definitely go back for a breakfast meal since that menu looked amazing. I loved having this food for leftovers the next day but it is not food for the weak. That green chili was spicy!

This must be what folks mean when they say "authentic" Mexican food! Large, delicious portions and the sopapillas at the end put our experience over the top. Will definitely go back if we are ever in Santa Fe again!!

Absolutely amazing place. Great staff, great food. Something homely about this place with an American dinner setting and yet anything but. They do a Chile (chili) that is mild to super hot, with a variety of food in iron man portions. Filling, tasty and enough to pass out or take home with you. It gives the bigger restaurants a run for their money, and right beside the amazing Hyatt hotel too. Win win!

The food is usually good, but as other people have stated, the female servers are not at all concerned about taking care of their guests. Unless you ask specifically, you won't usually get a refill on you coffee. Once they take your order, you're on your own. Good luck getting any service with the ladies that work there.
I've quit going during the week when the ladies are working
On Sundays, the servers are men and they are the exact opposite of the ladies. They are awesome and attentive to you. And you'll always get your coffee refills!
