I have had nothing but great experiences for the last 4 years at the store even before they moved to this new location.
When people start complaining about how the owner kept reminding them not to leave the diaper in the bathroom and other similar stories I have to ask myself what have inconsiderate customers done to her to make her so concerned about it happening again to her.? Obviously if she's concerned about people leaving diapers in her bathroom for her to go clean up its happened to her before and I can't blame her for wanting to protect her new store location and her company as it's a health risk if not taken care of properly.
For those of you who talk about the high prices I strongly recommend you drive a few miles south and find any Consignment Store Shoreline Ballard anywhere in Seattle for that has prices that she does in her store.
I find her pricing marginally more expensive than Goodwill in would expect so. I also appreciate her criteria standards for what she takes in as I find the clothes are all in very good shape and clean. I've been very surprised but she hasn't taken some of my stuff and found a small stain that I never even saw. So I know that when I'm buying from her she spent a lot of time looking at the Quality and Care before she puts it on her shelves for others to buy. I go here at least once a week it feels like. I have consigned so much stuff and almost always have store credit. They have pretty much everything, I’ve ran there several times to grab items I know they’d most likely have and i need it same day. For example, a sound machine when my sons broke, a sleep sack when he outgrew the one we had, shoes for a cheap price because he constantly outgrows his, and the list goes on. The owner and the other lady that work there spent 30 minutes with me trying to figure out strollers to make sure I found the right one to fit my car seat, I don’t get offended easily so I’ve never been bothered by the owner, if I have a question then she answers it, if I don’t then I just browse by myself, I think it’s just her and another lady working there. She’s busy, cut her some slack!

I will not shop here anymore. I've been here twice, the first time I thought maybe the OWNER was having a bad day Second time was a repeat!
I think it's time for her to retire, she clearly is not a people person.
And beware if you should have to ask a question Actually just don't ask any questions if you decide to subject yourself to the over priced baby items and poor customer service.
The other lady working there was not friendly either, maybe it's from having poor leadership.

BEWARE! Just wanting to warn against consigning here. All of these other 1-star reviews are right on! I consigned some items here a while ago and opted to get a check for my items instead of store credit. You are only allowed to get a check on odd numbered months (per their policy). EVERYTIME I called or went in to get a check, I was told that the person who cuts checks wasn't there and I would need to come back. This was MULTIPLE times over months. Most recently, I called to see if the owner was in to get a check and had them double check my account. The employee looked at the account, told me that she saw my credit, and that I should come in to get a check next month (when it's an odd month). So I go in and the owner rudely tells me that my credit has expired because it's been over a year and their policy is that it's only good for a year. I asked her why I was told by her employee that the credit was there and to come in and she says that I was never told that and that I'm lying. SERIOUSLY, she and the bookkeeper stand there, make a scene, and call me a liar in the middle of the store full of customers! I was literally shocked. To summarize, they took my items, consigned them for what they wanted to price them for, and then put off and put off and put off cutting me a check until my credit had expired so they wouldn't have to give me my money! How convenient of them to never be available, and never be able to write me a check, until it's too late! They are so shady and unprofessional! Please be careful! There are plenty of other consignment shops around that have polite staff and honest business practices. Please give your business to a reputable store! Oh, and a separate side note they are HORRIBLY overpriced for a consignment store. Most of their used/consigned clothing items I've seen are priced just as high as brand new items in a regular retail store. There's a reason they averaged about 2.5 stars while other consignment shops are 4+ stars. Hope this saves you time, money, and a huge headache!

I am relieved to see that I wasn't the only one left with a horrible impression.The lady at the front desk was rude, condescending and insulting. My husband went to change our daughters diaper and she offered him a bag. That was where the hospitality ended, she went on to repeatedly comment about how bad the diaper stank and how she needed to make sure we didn't leave it in the bathroom. Like a broken record-over and over again. All the while I was assuring her we had no intention of leaving the diaper. Then while checking out she insisted on inspecting my debt card not to check for my name or Id me just to hold it?? and repeatedly instructing me on how to use a card machine and then when her machine lagged snapped at me to repeat the process. I don't recommend based on poor customer service and moderately high prices. The store is clean and organized but the service is so terrible it outshines any positives.

First time in, selection good, prices were a bit high for used merchandise. No customer service as I walked the store, seems they were "busy" behind the counter?

Service is okay. The staff do not seem especially cheerful or inviting when you enter or shop. The credit is pretty good when you consign. Prices of items seem to be higher here though in general in terms of purchasing. Also, when consigning, know that although you can drop items off anytime, you have to make a 2nd trip on another day of the week to pick up the items that they did not take or those items will be donated. Not the most convenient coming from Everett so I do not consign here often.

I stopped by a couple of weeks ago. I started my conversation by saying it was my first time there and then I asked about their policies (is it all consignment or do they buy outright, etc). I was surprised by how unfriendly the woman was to me. She almost acted as though I was an imposition. This wasn't the sort of reply I expect from a small, local business. The prices looked reasonable which is why I gave 3 stars.

If you're buying from there, it looks like they have a ok collection. However, this place is AWFUL when trying to sell things. I was under the assumption that you would get the money up front, like how many other places do it. When I asked the worker about that, she was rude and pretty much said I already signed their contract so there's nothing I could do. I then asked to just cancel my account and she flatly said no because it was too much work. I regret not speaking to a manager about their bad customer service.
** Update: Just got a phone call from the manager apologizing and saying I can get my stuff back. I give them kudos for that.report this review -

Normally I've enjoyed this store for a couple years. Today, I felt like I was a burden to them. Answers were abrupt, short and I felt like the employee was speaking about me to the other employee. It was sooo weird and uncomfortable. No smile, during greeting or translation, nothing. Just a weird cold experience. Also now in their new location, they don't nearly have the same selection that they did at the older place. Stuff had holes and stains 😳.
