The view can't be beat, the burgers can. The Tacos are pretty good. Wish they had corn tortillas instead of flour but still pretty good.

This is a great little place right on the water, close to the pier and Pier Park. We had the friend avocado slices, blackened shrimp meal and the drunken dunkin shrimp. My husband raved about the avocado appetizer; he is already trying to replicate it at home! The blacked shrimp was the best I have ever had. He and I couldn't get over how delicious the broth for the drunken shrimp was. The only issue we had was that they only had 1 waiter and the poor guy was running his tail off trying to keep up with everything- and he did a great job! We can't wait for our next trip to the beach to come back here again!

Had the beef tacos and French fries. Good food. Dog friendly.
Waiter came right out to get order, food got to me before my beer and water. Had to ask food runner to bring me my drink. Waiter never came back to check on my food or to ask if I wanted another beer. I only seen him 3 times. Once to take my order, once to bring my beer, and once to give me my check. Cool location. Mediocre food. Maybe a Good place to hang out and drink beer and snacks. For family of four spent as much as at Sharke's a few blocks away and way better food. No reason to return.

Their fish tacos are awesome! Salsa is one of the best I tasted. Food prices are very well priced. A must-dine place on your PCB trip.
Keeping with its touristic location drinks are a bit pricey but they are good (strong);
Tip:- If you are in a large group offer to break up and take multiple tables - shorter wait time.response / report this review -

I was honestly looking forward to eating at Hookd as it really seemed to have great reviews and an even better location. Unfortunately, my experience did not live up to the hype.
We waited over an hour for our food, usually a waiter will let you know your food is coming or apologize for the wait, but our waiter just seemed to avoid all kind of contact with our table. Finally after we grew tired of waiting we asked and our waiter informed us that it had just started cooking but that the manager would give us a discount for our wait.
Apparently a cook had called out and they were reasonably busy.
When our food finally arrived, after more than an hour, we noticed that they got both of our orders wrong.
Needless to say, our experience was far from what we expected and we will not be going back.

First time to eat here, 8 of us in the party. Low key place, very casual, plastic ware and picnic tables, overlooks the gulf-kind of. Everyone was pretty happy with their food. Gumbo was good-flavorful,spicy, but too much rice. Crab claws were great. Blackened fish was good but small serving. Slaw was fair, fries were good. Shrimp tacos were very good.

Living in PCB for 7 yrs you learn the tourists trapsthis isn't one of them. It's pet friendly right on the water and great for people watching while waiting for your food. It's the beachso service can be slow but the food is always hot. Without alcohol it's very affordable if you can resist If not drinks are generously poured. We never feel "ripped off" like at other larger Pier Park places. Anything blackened will be a little spicey, burgers are good and shrimp is good too. We live in Pensacola nowadays but still stop by hooks from time to time.

Great food. Service this time around was okay, but not outstanding since part of the order was wrong. He wasn't writing our order down on anything and had a few tables so I could see how some things were forgotten. Definitely will be back though. Try the fish tacos if you come!

Very best place on the beach! The view is incredible, food is awesome but the people there are the absolute best part of our experience. Great drinks to top it all off! You owe it to yourself to go and have a outstanding dining experience anytime of the day! We love you all, your Kansas City Mo. Friends! Allen,Karla,Amy and Keith!

Absolutely love Hook'd. We have been vacationing in Panama City Beach for years and stop here multiple time each visit. Staff is amazing and prices are reasonable. Fish tacos (get Mahi Mahi) is where it's at, along with a pitcher (or 4) of Bud Light.
Sit at the bar and have some laughs, sit at a table with family and have great service and food, or sit outside and add amazing views into the mix.
I feel like the staff is mory the same year after year as well which is awesome for someone who returns over and over.
Hook'd gets 6 out of 5 stars in my book.response / report this review -

Great seafood restaurant right on the beach. The staff is very friendly and the food is good. We always come here for a pitcher of beer before going out to the beach.

Looks like a hole in the wall compared to the shopping complex across the street. That's unfortunate because the food was off the charts!! Menu was limited BUT what they do have is great. We shared the trio appetizer and fried seafood platter. If you're looking for a quick, convenient, inexpensive place to dine-I suggest hook'd. Service was top notch and food was great. I wish our trip wasn't so short because we'd definitely come back.
