  Hospitality was very good. Suite was very clean and well appointed. We enjoyed relaxing on the cold nights in front of the fireplace! Will definitely visit again when staying in the area!

  A great place to vacation. Accommodations are a different style and are beautiful. Everyone should visit at least once.

  What a wonderful place to stay! The views are so pretty. The hosts were very accommodating! We would definitely come back and stay here, so peaceful.

  We have stayed at Holmes With A View for several years and were always satisfied. THIS time was different! Water pressure was so low that it took a half hour to fill hot tub and during that time you could not flush the toilet or run any water for dishes. We were awoken at 12:30 am as the Carbon Monoxide Detector began to loudly beep. I could tell it wasn't for need of a new battery so I called both numbers listed as contacts for the room. NO one answered.I called againno answer! I finally took detector off the wall and noticed corrosion building up on it. I cleaned it off and reset the button.all was well. But, it took awhile to go back to sleep. At 6:30 am my phone went off with a message from the owners apologizing for not answering the phone as they were sleeping. I wish we were sleeping! Woken again.! When we commented to owners we got a simple sorry.that the water must need a new filter and a thank you for telling them. I suggested that they move carbon detector AWAY from hut tub. That was it!!! For $140 for the room we consider that poor maintenance by the owners.! With treatment like that any other establishment would have given a break on the price OR gave a genuine apology.nothing!.It was NOT restful and we WILL NOT recommend it to anyone.
